Liked Great little camping site, just outside the small village. The site owner, Jim was very welcoming and gave help when asked with information on places to visit and best roads to use. Basic facilities of showers and toilets were nice and clean.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked We greatly enjoyed this site, it was our first family camping holiday. There was plenty of space for all, even when the site was full there was still space for the children to run and play. The owner was very attentive and ensured everyone was happy and that facilities were in working order. We will definitely be looking at coming again.

Disliked Nothing, it was exactly as advertised!

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Absolutely gem of a campsite. Chalk Meadow is a peaceful, relaxed and friendly campsite, run by the incrediblely friendly Jim. We would visit the usual tourist hot spots during the day and then return to the tranquility of chalk meadow, which was the perfect combination. The site was brilliant for the children, safe to run around and they loved spotting the bats of an evening. We were even lucky enough to watch a barn owl hunt in one of the back fields. Jim is the perfect host, very attentive and nothing is too much hassle. It is obvious that he is very proud of his campsite, and so he should be! Thank you for the perfect holiday, we will see you again next year.

Disliked The fact that we couldn't stay longer!
