Tucked into scenic countryside overlooking the historic Jurassic Coast, Ladram Bay Holiday Park is a Devon seaside holiday park with something for all folks. This large, privately owned holiday park has heaps of facilities, including an entertainment hub and swimming pool complex. That’s not to mention its own private beach and secluded bay… An adventure playground with a giant pirate ship, outdoor play area with slides, tunnels and obstacle courses, an indoor soft play area (available for ages up to 12) and a toddlers’ climbing frame are more top picks at this family-friendly park. Kids and teens can also keep themselves entertained at dedicated clubs during the day, or play rounds on the Jurassic-themed adventure golf course. The Three Rocks complex is home to an amusement arcade, Pebbles Restaurant (the soft play area is right next door) and Waves Bar, with nightly entertainment plus sports on the big screen. The Art Studio is in the complex too, where pottery painting, teddy-bear making and creating squidgy slime masterpieces are all available for a reasonable charge. Looking for more to do? Ladram Bay has instructor-led activities (there’s an extra cost), where everyone can try out sea scooters, the inflatable obstacle course, aqua peddlers and water walkers. Alternatively, have a day on the private beach, with watersports from the shore, rockpooling towards the far end, and kayak or motorboat hire from the kiosk. Need a rest? There is a sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and gym at the leisure complex – and luckily you’ve also got a well-stocked supermarket, Beach Shack and the Coast Takeaway for essential holiday fish and chips, so there’s no worry about catering. Need entertainment for the dogs? The enclosed Dog Agility Park has a see-saw, slalom poles and fun bridge for your pup to navigate and enjoy some off-lead adventure.

Liked A large well organised holiday park. Ideal for families with lots to keep children happy.
Very well stocked shop.

Disliked The dog park whilst very smart is far too small for anything other than small dogs! We accept that the beach is dog free but booked because we saw the 'dog park' and wrongly assumed it would be suitable to allow free running. For anyone thinking of staying here with a medium/large dog please note there is no secure fenced area to let your dog run free. It would be really good if one of the recreational areas could be securely fenced. We used the area near the entrance/dumping ground - a large area with mown paths but not secure (open to the road).

Liked Facilities were on point, great location for relaxing or participating in activities that the site offers

Disliked Restaurants and Bars need to be more dog friendly especially out of season as leaving pets in the camper spoils the experience if not wanting to sit outside, but that's minor. Swimming pool extra fee was too much. Rather pay little more for pitch and include swimming.

Liked Excellent customer service and facilities, clean, modern shower and toilet facilities. Site is extremely clean and tidy and well maintained, well lit and safe and no issues walking around the site at night. This is the second time we have stayed and will come back again. Lovely coast walk to Sidmouth and for those with cars, plenty of places to go and visit nearby for everyone.

Warm friendly staff.
Definitely book again.

Disliked Only downside was there was a family playing music and being loud until 2am on 2nd night, wasnt parks fault but we had a 3year old who was woken .

Liked Modern clean facilities
Very friendly and helpful staff. They pitch the caravan for you which is a nice touch especially after a long drive. The shop is good a well stocked. Fish and chip shop is more than decent and fair pricing. The restaurant was pretty good and the beach shack is good too. The playground is great my son loved that. He also loved the pool and arcade. There’s entertainment every day if you like that sort of thing or you can just chill on your pitch in peace and quiet

Disliked Not a dislike but there could be some general bins near the pitches. There might be more but I could only find the main one which was quite a walk from where I stayed. I couldn’t get any WiFi from my pitch but wasn’t an issue I had good signal so could hotspot

Liked Lovely site and great playground.

Disliked Ended up expensive as crazy golf and swimming pool are extra and quite expensive.
Life guards are also the fun police!

Once you’re ready to go off site – probably around week two – the South West Coast Path is steps away and has stellar walks to Budleigh Salterton to the west and Sidmouth to the east. Inland, the Budleigh Salterton to Otterton five-mile walk follows the banks of the River Otter; the Otter Valley Wildlife Walk is an easy stroll through the Lower Otter Valley nature reserve to look out for kingfishers and waders from the river’s viewing platforms and hides. Twitchers can also head inland to the Exe Estuary RSPB reserve 13 miles away to see migratory birds or book a boat trip to spot avocets. Finally, if fishing’s your main hook, you won’t have far to go: many Ladram Bay guests fish from the park’s own cove, hiring a boat from the kiosk and going out to land mackerel for the grill.
