- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- Group bookings of 5 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- The site only allows dogs up to 30kg.
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over.
- Bookings must not consist of more than 3 different households.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
- No electric barbecues allowed.

Liked Spacious and relaxed campsite with lake and mountain views. Basic (but clean!!) facilities, just what you need when camping. Lots of space for dog and children to play, rope swing for the kids, access to the lake.

Liked Proximity to the lake. Rope swing. Woods to explore. Camp fires allowed. Quiet site. Not overly busy. Freedom to pitch where we wanted. This is one of our favourite sites in this area.
Disliked Toilets could have been a bit cleaner when we were there.
A little on the expensive side considering the level of amenities on site.

Liked First time camping and we’re pleased we booked at this campsite. Nothing to dislike, everything is perfect, located literally next to a private lake where you can relax and do water activities. Amenities 10/10, perfect for families especially with children. They also provide hot shower which made our experience even better.

Liked Everything!! Breathtaking view, lake with clear water, away from lights so the stars were incredible.
A couple of miles from water sports centres, boat hire, and Gazedale forest which has Go Ape and brilliant walks and mountain bike trails.The Muddy Duck pub which has wonderful food is also a mile away.
We had a amazing break and would definitely go back.
