What customers say
This peaceful, well-maintained campsite in a beautiful location is praised for its immaculate, level pitches, friendly hosts, and eco-friendly facilities powered by solar and wind. Guests enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, ample space, and suitability for stargazing. Some found the toilets and showers dated but clean. While midges were a noted issue, and a playground was missed, overall, it's considered excellent value and ideal for a relaxing getaway.

Excellent clean site with friendly staff and large pitch sizes
Electric grass pitch
Liked The site it self is fantastic, the staff are very friendly and help as much as they can the facilities are more than ample with showers in both the male and female toilets. There is washing facilities for your pots and pans as well as waste water and chemical waste drains. The pitch size is bigger than we were expecting and felt very safe on site. There is a park not far from the site located in Keilder Forrest and a social club which is open on weekends. They do have a shop at reception where you can get supplies if needed (gas etc) and beautiful view of the Sky as there is no light pollution brilliant for star gazing.
