Liked: A beautifully quiet location in the heart of Wheldrake Wood offering amazing walks around the trails and enjoy the bird song & sightings The site itself is pristinely clean and well kept, great pitches with plenty of space to enjoy. Unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to try The Roost, next time.

Liked: Spacious pitch with hedging for privacy. Peaceful. Friendly owners. Modern, clean toilets & showers with separate vanity area. Taps were sensor operated to save water but liked that showers were nice and hot and not on a timer. Lovely location - woodland walks & pub/ restaurant. Dog friendly.
Disliked: No separate washing -up facility.

Liked: Beautiful site. The pitches are a great size very well maintained. The toilet block is newly done and very nice. Great location to get the park and ride (designer outlet) into York.
Disliked: The toilet block doesn’t have cold water so nowhere to clean your teeth! There is also nowhere to wash pots up. People were washing them in the sinks in the bathroom.

Liked: The site was a beautiful and very well kept site, The toilet and shower facilities were excellent, clean and well looked after. Great walks for us and the dog, really lovely countryside.
Disliked: Just a bit disappointing that we couldn't take our dog (very well behaved dog) into the outdoor bar area, as the weather was so nice, it would have been great to have been able to have a drink together with our furry friend. Wifi signal wasnt great unfortunately, but not a dealbreaker
