Liked: Lovely quiet tucked away site. Stunning scenery and nice simple ‘old style ‘ camping facilities. Also met another lovely young family stand on the field. Highly recommended if you want off grid and peaceful.

From the manager: Sorry we still don't have a shower, planning permission has just been turned down but we won't give up trying! I think you were maybe washing up in the hand wash sink? Yes, hard standing isn't much good for awnings, thanks for pointing this out, although the area is handy for the wifi and the loos! . As always, thanks for your time in writting a review, it's really good to recieve feedback :-)

Liked: What a lovely site. Setting is as picturesque as they come. We had a lovely, warm welcome from the owner. Toilets are basic but kept very clean. The kids loved the menagerie of animals as well finding all the little bugs and creatures hidden across the site. No light pollution and the only noises at night were from the wildlife and farm animals around - perfect mix.
