We loved our weekend stay. The place is so good for all…
Glamping Pod
Liked We loved our weekend stay. The place is so good for all ages and families there is so much green space for the kids to run around and alot of space for family games and football. There is a park and table tennis basket ball etc we brought all our own stuff for it. The kids loved it. The glamping pods are cozy and comfortable I love the fact they have a toilet and a shower beats having to go to a shower block. The site does have a shower block which my parents used they said it was perfectly fine and clean. The staff were so lovely so friendly. The place is so well kept..it is so close to some lovely places we visited southwold and Walberswick we didn't eat out this time bht it's very close to various pubs and restaurants . My parents had their dog and it was ideal for him with all the green space and a nature walk. Defo will.be returning.

Great site very clean and staff very friendly
Fully-serviced grass pitch
Liked Well laid out pitches and well stocked shop had everything you needed. Amazing fields for kids and family to play family games. A nice nature trail and woods to walk and takes dogs on. We will be back at some point. We also had amazing weather. ☺️
Disliked Could do with more showers and toilets plus can't adjust shower temperature. But they were very clean. The wif wasn't any good would never stay connected.Disliked

Noisy crowded site
Fully-serviced grass pitch
Liked site was clean and tidy as were the facilities; shop well stocked. Gladed area was pleasant to walk in, but too small - walk around was less than 1/4 mile.
Disliked Only one toilet and one shower (for each sex - ie 1 x male plus 1 x female) for a site of this size/Nos of people on site, is ridiculous; while we were advised we could also use the 'disabled' facility, this was too often also 'in use' and therefore unavailable.
Pitches were too close to each other. Noise levels on site were OK during day and early evening, but later in the evening noise levels rose and the loud voices and laughter going on into early hours of the morning, getting louder as the evening wore on (prob the alcohol kicking in ), were annoying and sleep depriving.
So much so, we left the site a day early;
also, when booking out, the female member of staff in the shop simply couldn't care less and was totally dis-interested/couldn't care less attitude.

Fully-serviced grass pitch
Liked This was our first time camping.. it seems more for motorhomes but we just had a two man tent. The electricity hookups looked great though and the fresh water tap at each pitch was super helpful.
The facilities were clean and the shop had everything you needed.

Shepherd's hut
Liked The shepherd's hut was a great size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everyone working at Heathside was friendly and helpful, making our stay very easy.
Disliked Given the price of the hut, it would be great if bedding was provided. Otherwise, I think these could be cheaper.
