What customers say
This is a small, quiet site praised for its friendly owners and natural setting by mill ponds. While pitches are level and well-kept, the toilet and shower facilities are basic and dated, though consistently reported as clean. The site's location is convenient for visiting local attractions like IWM Duxford and Cambridge, with pubs and shops within walking distance. New owners are undertaking improvements.

A pleasant site marred by my dislike comments otherwise
Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Initial welcome by owners, ducks and moorhens wandering around with impunity, toilet/ shower facilities limited but kept spotless, nice walk to the Fowlmere RSB site included kingfisher close up sighting.
Disliked Our stay was spoilt by the site allowing a large family tent to pitch far to close to our caravan ( so close I had to step over and between guy ropes to access rear cupboards of caravan, in my view a total disregard to usual considerations to fire risks etc

Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Friendly welcome at the site after an easy booking.
Disliked The place itself is clean, but it does not feel taken much care of and basic.
The sanitary experience was not so pleasant. Very moldy and old. The waterpressure is pretty low, so u need quite a bit of time to finish.
No official greywater disposal
Too expensive for what u get.

Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great Location, nice clean organised site. Tony, the owner was very helpful, friendly and available for any queries. He leant us a hammer for our pegs as the ground was very dry/hard. We’re looking forward to staying again next year.

Highly recommend it.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great site, toilets and showers were clean and the site is very tidy with ducks and moorhens wandering around. It's not far from anywhere and the 10 minute walk to the Green man pub was a doddle, great pub too.
Disliked Lack of wi-fi was the only downside.

Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Location for Cambridge, Shepreth Wildlife Park, Pubs within walking distance, friendliness of owners.
Disliked Pitches a little narrow if site is busy. Sanitary block, although perfectly clean, is only a temporary structure and could do with updating, but as the owner has only fairly recently taken the site over, it is a work in progress.
