  • Dog-friendly alpaca ranch stay surrounded by woodlands
  • A 10-minute drive from Go Ape Wyre and 20 minutes from Wyre Forest
  • Alpaca walking through the forest, firewood and kindling available
Join the alpacas for a dog-friendly ranch stay surrounded by woodlands at Belvedere Alpaca Ranch in Worcestershire. With views of the woods and alpacas, ponies, pygmy goats and chickens to feed or observe, there’s plenty to like here. The alpaca ranch backs onto the Ribbesford Woods in Bewdley and the huge Wyre Forest is only 20 minutes’ drive away too. Get stuck into alpaca walks through the forest. There are public right of way walks departing directly from the site and into the woodlands, where the 31-mile Worcestershire Way can be picked up too. Make it back in time to cook over the fire if you wish. Firewood, kindling and fire starter kits can be purchased on site and there’s a cooking/grilling tripod available for hire, which stands over the fire. All you’ll need to bring, in that case, is cooking equipment like pots and pans… and your own grub, sourced from farm shops or other shops in Bewdley, five minutes’ drive away. Bewdley has plenty of restaurants and pubs too, as well as a swimming pool. There’s a composting toilet on site, but no showers yet. The owners advise heating up water on a self-brought gas stove to have yourself an outdoor wild wash or visiting the Wyre Forest Leisure Centre’s full shower facilities and swimming pool, which are 15 minutes’ drive away. Kids are welcome on site, as are well-behaved dogs (to be kept on a lead, please). Plus, there are adults-only weekends available.

What customers say

This peaceful, well-maintained campsite offers stunning countryside views and the charming company of alpacas and other animals. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful hosts, the quiet atmosphere, and the option for campfires. Pitches are well-spaced, and facilities, including a clean toilet, are generally good. Minor points include the need for clearer information on water availability and the desire for more varied activities for older children. Many guests highly recommend the site and plan to return.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked What an amazing place!
We stayed here for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed by the owner and reassured as it was out first time camping. The pitch was a very good size and the alpacas were in every direction you looked.
The toilet was very clean and the little honesty shop was a great place to get any essentials you need.
We had an amazing sunset to watch and the firepits were available to hire.
We loved it and will miss waking up to the alpacas.
Can't wait to return!!

The site was fine but basic, with clean toilet and a single wash tap.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Quiet field in the country side with Alpacas.

Disliked Hand washing facilities very basic. Signage at the entrance gate confusing and not sure if we arrived at the correct location. Not much to do nearby. Plus 10am checkout on bank holiday Monday seems unnecessarily early.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked Nice quiet site, with adorable alpacas and lovely scenery, what more do you really need.
The toilet was always clean, even when the site got busy.
The owners were very welcoming, recommended a good shaded area to pitch as I camp with my dog, and also recommended a place to walk him, which is lovely as most site owners don't give a damn.
We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked What a lovely little site.

My son and I visited for a little lads trip away to escape the mayhem and get back to basics.

This site is exactly as it’s described on the website and we loved it here.

Loved the honesty shop too which we used to have a fire on the evening with marshmallows and we watched a movie that we downloaded to a tablet… all under the stars and with the alpacas keeping warm nearby too.
The alpacas are very friendly and always near by being nosey which was amazing.

The hosts are very friendly and I stood having a really good chat and laugh with them for a good 30 minutes.

Another plus for us on our visit was the hosts very friendly little PUG dog that came to say hello in the morning and have a fuss with us.

We will definitely be visiting again and for a longer stay 😊

Disliked Cash-only honesty shop - why not include Bank Transfers?
