What customers say
This is a lovely, peaceful site with spacious, private pitches, often featuring hedges and lake views. Guests praise the friendly staff, the on-site cafe/farm shop with good food, and the children's play park. However, some visitors highlight issues with the limited toilet and shower facilities, particularly the lack of hot water and cleanliness in some instances. The fishing lakes are reported to be in need of maintenance and can be flooded. Road noise and occasional loud events have also been mentioned.

Level pitches, clean facilities, get gate code if arriving after 4pm
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Loved everything about the campsite, it's a beautiful place, with a gorgeous cafe with outside decking area and beautiful fishing lakes, we had a great pitch, hardstanding with both water and waste, this small site was perfect for us, a middle aged/older couple with our little dog.
Disliked Arrived around 5pm to find gates locked, we had already rang ahead to say we would be arriving after 4pm when the cafe closes and staff must all leave for the day. My husband had to walk into the campsite and luckily managed to get the gate code off another camper so we could let ourselves in and find out own pitch but everything was fine from there on.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Not our first time visiting here. Lovely peace full site. The fishing ponds seem to have been alot better maintained since we visited in May. Will definitely be visiting again.
Disliked No personal contact with owners other than check in. More than one toilet would be better.

AVOID YOUVE BEEN WARNED
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Pitch had electric and water, fishing looked quite enough to fish with your kids pain free
Disliked Disgusting place the disposal location is to close and absolute stunk of urine and poo, the toilet was one toilet a mission away, and was being utilised by lots and lots of people, the noise of the road and railway was terrible kept us awake through the nights, and the cafe food was absolutely disgusting my pancakes were stale, my child's eggs were cold, we will never ever visit this place again we left a day early, on arrival your thrown a code for a padlock to the gate, many were leaving it open, so seemed pointless to me as they forget to close after they drove through it
