Facilities ok
Disliked Barking dog on pitch behind us

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Easy check-in, good sized pitches, clean facilities, easy access to city centre and West Bridgford
Disliked Very noisy barking dog that woke us up early - shame that irresponsible dog owners are allowed.

Wouldn’t stay again Not friendly Dirty facilities
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Spacious pitch
Disliked Facilities are disgustingly. Not cleaned once whilst we were there. Showers are hot but u end up just being stood in a bath of water as it doesn’t drain and there’s no seperate area to dry off it’s all just one tiny cubicle.
We were pitched away from toilets and as it’s winter and was cold and muddy we asked if we could perhaps be moved closer to toilets as we only have a camper. The lady in reception said no they were full. She lied: there was a whole row right by the blocks that never got taken up. Don’t expect them to accommodate any requests.

Unreliable arrival arrangements
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked It’s a peaceful area with good walking and the campsite faculties were okay
Disliked We were given a pitch number and field but on arrival that particular field had no hard standing, which we had pre-booked.
At 4pm in the afternoon there was just an answerphone to leave a message (I did and no one returned my call) or it hung up saying there was no one in attendance.
We ended up just finding an empty gravel pitch with hook up and as it’s off season we were not asked to move .
I won’t go back even though I like the site .

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Location for Nottingham is excellent. Pitch was new gravel and sizeable
Disliked No real improvement on the cleanliness of the toilets and showers. Really lets the site down. It’s been that way for years. The new “portable type” facilities are no better!!

Deluxe Arch 1 bedroom camping pod
Liked The location was great for a chilled break and super easy access to the city centre to pick up my daughter from university for the Christmas break.
Weather was not great for exploring but had a couple of nice walks so would go back again.
We stayed in a pod which was just right for what we needed, toasty warm and cosy.
Disliked The bed was wet by the window I presume leaked in with the rain but we made it work as arrived late, no more leaks for the rest of our stay.
Washroom facilities were not the cleanest, not cleaned in the 2 nights while I was there and no cleaning supplies available by the showers to clean yourself so glad we didn’t stay longer on this occasion.
