Potential campsite, but not clean
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked This campsite has potential: pitches are large; privacy fences are lovely; showers and toilets are properly plumbed in.
Disliked We arrived at 2.30pm on the Sunday and left at 10.30am on the Tuesday, and at no point during this time were the toilets or showers cleaned. We had 30°C heat, so they were very smelly. We ended up using our motorhome facilities, but those in tents won't have been as lucky.
The neighbouring farm is an industrial dairy farm. It's noisy and smells of silage. Obviously, the campsite can't do anything about its neighbours, but it's something people should consider before booking.
While we were there, because of the 30°C heat, the neighbouring farm was carrying out their evening milking at 10pm (to stop the cows suffering from heat stress). This meant machine noise and milk tankers into the evening. The silage smelt rancid in the heat and there were swarms of flies from the silage.
If you do stay at this campsite, avoid the hot weather!

Liked Beautiful camp site with fab dog walks along the river. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Great facilities and lovely coffee shop. Our son loved playing in the kitchen at the coffee shop. Even though we only live in Cheltenham, this was a lovely night away and felt like we had gone further a field. We will definitely be back!
Disliked Nothing!

Great camp site, good atmosphere, with everything you need on site.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great little camp site, small enough that you don't feel overwhelm.
Showers and toilets where always clean and the bog rolls where replaced quick.
Its a working farm so if you like the owers to be walking around chatting etc, this is not the place for you. There is no contact, but TBH there is really no need.
4 walks circular walk to enjoy and all of them end up at the Local pub (there is a god). Great little cafe just up the road that serves great cakes etc.
You can BBQ and have a fire pit, take your dog as well! What's not to like about this site.
Disliked This is not a dislike, just a heads up. Its a working farm milk trucks may turn up a little later or early. There are flies about once the wind drops but TBH they seem more interested in sitting on the MoHo than bothering you.

My kind of camp site! Lovely location in very peaceful surroundings.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked This is a small and peaceful site and was just what I’d hoped it would be. I thought I’d booked EHU, I hadn’t but the owner very kindly offered to provide us with it. The pitches were a good size and ours also had a privacy laurel hedge on either side. It was great for the dog as you’re able to let them off once you’re on the lane and we had a lovely early morning walk along the Severn estuary. The shower and toilets were clean. Apart from our neighbour who went off site and left their dog in their caravan to bark non stop (until they returned) the other dog owners were considerate. Lovely location. Didn’t get chance to visit the village pub which is literally five min walk from the site. Neither did we get to visit the coffee shop which is a 2 min walk. I’ll definitely return.
Disliked Neighbour who went out and left one of their dogs alone in the caravan to bark non stop until they returned.

Liked Small and quiet. Lovely setting. Good facilities, beautiful countryside. Lovely local pub a short walk away.
Disliked Could do with a few more bins, but then again, if we all took some home, it would help as I'm sure they have to pay extra for removal

Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked West End Farm is a relatively small site, but is spacious and has the facilities we require. It is situated on the edge of the village with easy access to fields and walks. It is ideal to walk our dog along tracks and next to the river. The countryside is full of wildlife and farm animals. It is a peaceful site but also within walking distance of the Pub.

Peaceful and mostly private pitches
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The site was well set out, each space was private to a degree with hedges either side.
There was a washing up station, showers and toilets.
It was quiet apart from noisy kids but otherwise was peaceful.
Disliked The toilets require more regular checks as someone had weed on the floor in one and it was a bit smelly.
Also no hand drying facilities for when using the loo but not the shower.
