Electric optional grass pitch (pet friendly)
Liked: Lots to do for the children with good value activity passes. Big space to explore. Nice and quiet site. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: A few things were a bit run down (pool area and its changing area). Toilets were a bit of a mess at times. Check in at 2pm and leave by 11am didn’t give you the best chance to use the activity passes if you were having a short stay.

Liked: Space on the pitch
Disliked: Dirty toilets and showers, showers cold. Distance from the pitch and facilities was too far. Less than average food at the restaurant. Expensive once electric and activity passes added.

Electric optional grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked: Super large pitch size. Accommodated us as multiple groups with no fuss. Nice range of activities for children aged 14 & 16. Bar & shop onsite. Some instructors good.
Disliked: Poor toilets - unclean & need an update. Cold showers. Some instructors were sarcastic & condescending. Expensive.

Liked: The pitches were very spacious with lovely views. The site is on acres of land so lots to see and do. The activities were good for younger children.
Disliked: The toilets and showers were disgusting. Some of the staff running the activities appeared fed up and were quite rude. The food and drinks were very overpriced as were the pitches.

Electric optional grass pitch (pet friendly)
Liked: The activities for kids were great and not too expensive, liked that half day passes are available if you want to venture out. All the staff (many of them young volunteers) really made a fuss over all the kids and were so friendly and helpful. Pitches are a good size, camp fires allowed. Shop and bar not too dear and lovely walks for the dog.
Disliked: Not a dislike (and I realise some of the facilities are quite old) but the main shower block needs some hot water and the pool could definitely use a bit of heat in it. (Although it is funny to watch everyone who gets in scream and jump back out!) The pool is free but we’d have paid for pool entry if it was a temperature where you could actually spend time in it.

Electric optional grass pitch (no pets)
Liked: • Beautiful Area • Huge camp site • On site shop • On site pub • Kids Activities • Friendly staff • Speed limits taken seriously • Clean Toilets / Shower Block
Disliked: • Pitch Markings Hard To See • No open, free play area for kids (Though activities are great, we have a 4 year old who was upset he couldnt play on anything) • Toilet waste area has no tap to clean / Flush, just a hole in the floor. • Electric point is shared in the middle of the pitches and has a low amp usage, tripped everytime I turned on caravan heater. Not end of world as was hardly needed. • WiFi non existing around camp site, but who needs it when camping? Site is so big they would need their own satellite.
