Liked: Very friendly owners who were very welcoming. Kids loved Bob the horse in the field who always came over to greet them and the stream at the bottom of the site.
Disliked: Shower basic and difficult to control temperature to stop it getting scalding hot and one of the two showers not working

Liked: Toilet and shower facilities were always kept clean and stocked essentials. Supplied with fire pits where you could have a bbq and fire each nice at no more than £10. Spacious and plenty of things to do on the site for example, see the horses and other live stock. Lastly the host were great, took care of the groups on site and always took time out of her late afternoon/ evening to chat with people.
Disliked: Maybe add another shower as there was only one.

Liked: It was the most beautiful setting and even the rain couldn’t spoil the weekend! Leat Farm is the perfect spot for families who want to explore the New Forest or visit the coast. Donna is so welcoming and makes the point of speaking to everyone, suggesting places to visit, getting to know the kids and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone on the camp site is chatty and friendly, and you end up spending the evening chatting next to the fire, watching the sun set as the kids all play together. I cannot wait to come again it really is a gem xx

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Really good basic site. Lovely open fields with good grass cover and no nasty stones to stop pegs or damage ground sheet. The owners provide rubbish bags and then come around early evening and collect rubbish bags/drop off fire pits/bbq/charcoal etc. There's good basic facilities and even on a fully booked site my friends didn't have to queue. We found my standard wheelchair did fit into toilet when tried.
Disliked: Nothing really to dislike for us but some may prefer a slightly separate area for adults and families. Between late night drinks and catching up with other campers our evening's stretched out and we woke to very happy children running around the tents playing games - not a problem for us but some prefer to wake gently.
