Primitive grass tent campsite (riverside)
Liked: The Riverside spot was quiet, had a tap and toilet facilities, very chilled and beautiful surroundings! If you walk further down the lane there are nice views of the stream and gully. The member of staff who greeted us was very welcoming and helpful too

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked: The space and amenities at each pitch. Hot, clean showers after a long day walking. Friendly reception staff. The on site waterfall and pool to cool off in. Far enough away to be surrounded by scenery but easy access to keswick and Ullswater The views of the mountains, changing hour by hour. Beautiful
Disliked: Nothing. Which is why we return.

Primitive grass tent campsite (riverside)
Liked: Really enjoyed my stay here. A lively site with a working farm, and lots of other different types of accommodation. Very tidy place and excellent shower block. It's a good place for getting to other spots. Keswick 15 minutes, Ullswater 15 minutes, Ambleside only 35 minutes.
