Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff at check in. Good Pitches only 30 in number with some slightly sloped so that we did not need to use ramps at front of motorhome. Site has two good sized combined Disabled Wet Rooms/toilet, but can be used by all. Wet rooms were very clean. Although if site was full could be very busy. Located in a walled garden area well laid out site. Not to far from A1 and Berwick Upon Tweed 15 min walk into the village of Paxton, nice pub with food but only open Thurs-Sunday (check before you visit) Check in was at 1200.
Disliked: Check in could be slightly clearer. There is a Sign directing you into site with arrow showing "Check In" pointing further up the road. Could be amended to state CHECK IN AT HOUSE. When checking in it would benefit from a small simple site leaflet providing some basic details ie Facilities and local transport Taxi, Bus and details of local village and an emergency number to call if issues arise on site Check out is at 10am.

Liked: Lovely, quiet site with beautiful grounds and riverside walks at Paxton House. Short walk to a lovely friendly village pub with lovely food.
Disliked: Pitch up says no toilet/shower facilities, which would have put me off if I hadn’t been there before and knew there were 2 accessible toilet/showers

Liked: Lovely sheltered pitches within walled garden with nice house & grounds leading to glorious R Tweed side walk (saw beavers twice). Nice little coffee shop/diner. 2 Very spacious toilet/shower rooms severely let down by stupid shower & seat layout
Disliked: Possibly intended to be disabled friendly the shower arrangement was anything but that. Fold down seat looks dangerous with legs able to slip forward under any weight. Shower controls & head directly behind seat making regulating controls extremely difficult. Obviously whoever designed that this layout has NEVER seen a proper wet room, the seat (a safer version) & shower control should be on adjacent walls- there is so much wasted space in these 4mtr sq rooms it’s a shame nobody looked at things through the eye of even the able bodied let alone the disabled
