Beach yurt (no pets)
Liked: The Campsite was so clean and well kept, all the staff were amazing, friendly and happy. Had the best loo/shower blocks I have seen, I much prefer self enclosures with loo and shower together so I was extremely happy to see they had those here near reception side of the campsite . There wasn’t much to walk too, but they had a small woodland area, all very catered for dog owners. Bar opened at 4pm and food vans come every night, they had a small shop which sold most things needed. We stayed in the yurt, clean and spacious, amazing log burner, maybe a little too warm once lit but my husband was desperate to test it out . Had everything we needed plus more.
Disliked: The bed in the yurt wasn’t very comfortable. But that could be because we are not used to a sprung mattress. WiFi wasn’t great where we were

From the manager: Thank you Kara for your recommendation and your review. We do have 3 long woodland walks you can do from the park. Next time your here come to reception and we will give you the flyers. I am sorry you had bed issues. Normally customers find the beds very comfortable but we will check it out now you have brought it to our attention. Many thanks

Non-electric grass pitch (pet friendly)
Liked: the site is lovely, it’s really clean around the site, in the showers, the bar and generally very well kept. Check in was smooth and efficent, they give you a card that you tap in and out to get through the gates which is great. Monty’s Bar is fab and the variety of food trucks that come into camp. we had a Pizza van on friday, Fish and Chips on Saturday and then Tuckeys Van on sunday morning for breakfast before check out. the woods are also fabulous if you have a dog with you like we did, one part was closed but the woods were so big and doggies are allowed off lead!
Disliked: nothing

Emma's Glade non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch (no pets, wild)
Liked: Excellent facilities, staff very helpful and Emma’s field was very quiet and secluded given the size of the site. We were in our Camper Van, much preferred this to standard Astro/gravel pitches. The Woodman Pub had great service and a good carvery, 15 minute walk but ignore google maps location as it’s showing someone’s house as the pub, keep walking and you’ll get there! Kingston Lacy (NT) a short drive away and worth a visit.
Disliked: Big and busy, but to be expected on a Bank Holiday weekend. Disappointing to have so many restrictions on bbq/fire pits, we weren’t able to use our Solo Stove, but local council restrictions so not site’s fault.

From the manager: Thank you Simon and I hope you do come again. We are not a big park. Only 100 pitches in 30 acres so would be described as small to medium in campsites around the UK. If you want a quiet time to come I would suggest maybe not a bank holiday as obviously this is very popular time to come. With regard to fire pits. There are lots of Council restrictions due to forest fires. That is why we provide fire pits at £3 a night that are correct and Council approved. That way you do not have to lug your heavy and dirty one in the car that will not probably be correct to Council requirements. Hope you come again.
Amazing campsite, very highly recommended.

Emma's Glade non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch (no pets, wild)
Liked: The facilities ont he camp were amazing. The toilets and showers were impeccable. There was a fantastic bar and a great little shop and the daily food van was an added bonus.
Disliked: Despite being so close to the New Forest, it is not so easy to get on the walking or cycling trails.

From the manager: Thank you Kieran for the top score. We are so pleased you had a great stay. There are 3 walks and cycling routes you can take directly from the Park. Hurn Forest, opposite us. From our woodlands, you can access the Castleman Trailway. And also go from here onto Moors Valley Country Park. Next time your here come to reception or our info hut and we can explain this all to you. Thanks

Emma's Glade non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch (no pets, wild)
Liked: The toilets and showers were immaculate (always a bonus!), the campsite was beautiful with lots of walks around with a bar open for the afternoon with a different food truck outside for dinner, and all the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Everyone on the site was quiet at a reasonable time. The whole atmosphere was amazing, easily the best campsite we’ve ever stayed at.

Astro Turf electric hardstanding and grass tent or campervan pitch
Liked: One of the best sites we have stayed in and we look forward to retuning.
Disliked: Had a bit of Roundabout's tour to find the site then noticed that a Tree's branches were obscuring the entrance sign.
