Liked: This is a great spot not too far or too close to the M6. You can have fires, there's a fridge freezer, mini kitchen, all very cosy and the nicest hosts you can imagine. We even cuddled a chicken and met the friendliest dog
Disliked: What's not to like

Liked: The location is amazing, the sunset and night sky are perfect. The host was great, it's a very relaxed but safe site. We had our own fire pit and our dog could run around to her heart's content. We'll definitely be back.
Disliked: It's a bit tricky to find, but it could be our sat nav issue and maybe some naivety on our part for not checking the map first.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campervan campsite
Liked: Peace and quiet. I stayed in the camping side but glamping looks great. Amazing customer service, my van broke down and Tom helped get it started and then even called me later in the afternoon to check if I had got it sorted and make sure I wasn’t broken down in the middle of nowhere - above and beyond!
Disliked: Nothing

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: this is a new favourite. Quirky, rustic, friendly and fun. I am reluctant to give it the review it requires because I want to keep it all to myself! 😁 My perfect campsite is small and back to basics. This is most def that but in a positive way. Chilled out and very welcoming, I cannot wait to return for a longer stay
Disliked: Nope. Nothing

Liked: Peace and quiet, lovely clean toilets, friendly and helpful people on hand.
Disliked: Not really a dislike, more a thing to be aware of - no artificial lighting (lovely night skies), so you'll need a torch.

Liked: Just back from an amazing and relaxing weekend away, the Yurt we stayed in was a nice space to relax and forget about the troubles of the world. The weather on the first night was a bit rough but that's Cumbria, we just lit the burner and had a chilled evening, after having a nice meal at local pub. ( 5min drive). On the second night we sat by the fire pit listening to the badgers and other wildlife in the woods, which we were fortunate to have to ourselves. It definitely relaxed use even our Patterdale was chilled and that's rare. We will definitely be returning.

Liked: Loved the little camper field, pitch where you like, nice and flat great peaceful location. Owner was really welcoming and helpful. Toilets and showers clean and quirky. Fridge microwave etc all available.
Disliked: The road up had quite a lot of pot holes. The lane to the quirky facilities wouldn’t suit everyone but I enjoyed the little stroll accompanied by 3 very friendly hens.
