Liked: Quiet site, with lovely view of the village. Village just 30 min walk. Great reception staff. Facilities clean.
Disliked: Pool may be rather crowded in high season as it’s not that big. Some facilities tired, and appeared mot to be working well (showers in pool area).

Liked: Beautiful views. Reception staff friendly. The pool was a nice bonus and was clean.
Disliked: Buildings are a little shabby externally. The lack of a site map makes finding dishwashing facilitaties, laundrette, chemical toilet, bins etc a pain and there are no signs or clear paths to some of them. The restaurant is advertised on pitch up as being open but only in July and Aug reception staff told us. Some of the pitches are quite muddy/boggy. This is mainly a couples and family site but pitch up state exclusively that's isn't true as there was a group of (friendly)motor bikers who were also staying.

Liked: Overall infrastructure, swimming pool, bathroom was very clean, enough space to accommodate our camper, me, my husband and our 2 dogs. All employees are super friendly.
Disliked: Drinking water and Wi-Fi needs to be paid apart, no clear instructions to find the place to wash the dishes and discard grey/black water.

From the manager: Hello Paula, Thank you for your comment and we hope you enjoyed your stay. Wifi is available at an additional cost. We hope to be able to make it freely available very soon. On the other hand, water from our campsite is available at every fountain with free access. There is no extra charge unless you wish to buy a bottle of water in our small shop. We hope to see you soon

Liked: This campsite gave us a true feeling of rural France, the location was set in the countryside with small towns in walking distance with real French restaurants serving delicious French food compared to the city full of chain restaurants and tourists. The staff were welcoming and chatty, the campsite was large which gave us optimum choice of where to pitch up our tent. The facilities were clean and plentiful.
Disliked: One morning the female facilities were closed of from use without reasoning, this lead me to have to use the male facilities. We had been used to unisex facilities so this was no issue, however, there could have been a sign left on the door to suggest why the female facilities were out of use and confirmation that it was ok to use the male facilities in the meantime.

From the manager: Hello, Kate, Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. We are happy to hear that you had a pleasant time with us despite some inconveniences. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the closure of the women's sanitary facilities. The toilets are thoroughly cleaned once a week, which is why they were closed. We have taken your recommendation on board and will be putting in place some guidelines when we close our toilets.

Liked: We stayed for 2 really relaxing nights on our way back through France. We really enjoyed this site and had a lovely relaxing time. We were pitched in a small area separate from the main site which meant it was really quiet and away from anyone else, there was a motorhome and a caravan with us the first night but we were alone the next night. The indoor swimming pool was a good size for a campsite and wasn't too busy even in August although you do need to remember to take your budgie smugglers. The bar & restaurant was really good and we ate there both nights. Worth a stroll into the village, there is a lovely bar for a drink and if you time it right the patisserie will be open

Liked: The campsite was clean and well maintained. Bordered by a forest, it offered a nice protection from the wind and rain. The site itself was very large and the shrubbery gave some privacy from our neighbors, which was nice. There were plenty of activities for kids… especially the indoor pool, which turned out to be great on a rainy day. There is also a small store with the essentials (milk, snacks etc), which is convenient although the nearby village of Niederbronn has several good restaurants and a couple of small grocery stores. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
Disliked: Some noise in the morning from the nearby operations… but since we usually rise early when camping it was hardly an issue. Wifi was only free for 10 min when creating an account… couldn’t be bothered to use it and used the personal hotspot from our phones instead.
