Liked: Shower block was immaculate. Freedom to pick your own parking space. Nice and quiet in the evenings. Highland Cows also grazing on the grass around the campsite which was lovely.

Camping pod
Liked: Campsite and toilets are very clean and in a good location. My key to my pod was in an envelope on the door with my name on as I got there after reception had closed which is a good idea and handy and a drop off box for leaving

Liked: The site was nice, choice of areas to pitch our tent. Toilets were clean. Had a shop for essentials. Staff appeared to be friendly. Dog walks available.
Disliked: All tent areas a fair bit away from toilet blocks. Not sure who put in the steps from our area up to the shop/toilet block but they must have been a giant - I am only 5' 2" and it was a struggle every time to go up them and I certainly wouldn't risk coming down them!! Grass cutting - please pick up the grass cutting with the mower. Stops grass getting everywhere and makes for a far more pleasant experience. Felt exposed as we were very overlooked by the lodges with hot tubs - no screening between them and us. People in the lodges playing loud music and generally being quite loud.

Liked: Clean facilities, friendly helpful staff, if you get the right pitch stunning views and gorgeous walks nearby. Peaceful site
Disliked: No marked pitches, so you can end up with neighbours quite close. Very limited phone signal which we loved, teenagers weren’t so keen though

Probably the worst camp site I’ve ever stayed at.

Liked: The location is close to Oban although the road is a very narrow single track with passing places. Although near the water there are very limited views due to trees and high ground. The best views are now taken by chalets and pods. There is a nice dog walk through the woods.
Disliked: We were warned the water was undrinkable and it turned out to have a brown tinge and definite bad taste even after boiling. We bought water from Tesco. Many of the electric points on level ground were not working. This left only a few electric points on sloping ground which made pitching up difficult. There were no blocks available. There is only one toilet waste point which is a long way from the ends of the site. The drains near the toilet block smelled and I pity the people camped close by. There was no specific tap for filling water containers. The sink taps for washing up needed to be used. The recycling bins were filled to overflowing and not emptied during our stay. With no pitch markers, people pitch at random where they choose. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are all mixed together. No-one comes to check and the whole site has a very disorganised feel. The phone signal is rubbish and the only wifi is near reception.
