Liked: It is a friendly staff campsite with a lovely communal space, bar and proper facilities in place. Also the wood delivery every evening for your campfire was really thoughtful (price is ok).
Disliked: No check in/out. Feels as if anyone can come in and stay

Liked: Setting lovely, surrounded by trees. Great vibe. Friendly chilled out hosts. Firepit and bar in woods great. Good location, short walk to village and pub.
Disliked: Showers not very clean. Loos lacked soap or anything to dry hands on.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback. Glad you appreciate our "chilled out vibe" Sorry about the shower cleanliness - we do clean them daily - the bad weather dis make it difficult to keep the floors clean of mud. We don't provide hand towels for the loos - as advertised - we are a back to basics campsite. Hopefully the positives of this outweigh the negatives and you will make a return visit
Wonderful location, great facilities and really nice vibe.

Liked: The Relaxed nature of the site was refreshing and the bar / communal area had a really nice vibe. Hot water for washing up is a much underrated feature at campsites but a very much appreciated commodity all the same. The whole site was compact and even when full there was still a sense of privacy as each pitch is often in a corner of its own especially in the end field where we were. Hot showers that were not coin operated were also a definite plus and the toilet area was always clean. The opportunity to buy wood and have camp fires was also a really nice feature that made the whole stay quite special, especially on the last night. The host was also very accommodating and made us feel very welcome.
Disliked: Grass was a little long in places apart from that very little bad to say about such a great place.

Liked: Facilities were great nice and clean despite there was a small festival that weekend. The festival was great and would definitely like to return next year for that. There are 2 pubs in the village and a co op. About a 10 Min walk. All in all a lovely campsite.
Disliked: None
