Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Location was great with excellent access to dog walk/hiking trails. Pitches fully serviced and spacious. Shower block clean. Shop was handy and staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: Pitches overlooked by pods with large group booking who drank and made noise until 3am. Loud, graphic sexual conversations close to young families, and fire burning late into the night preventing others from enjoying the outside space or sleeping. Let dog wander onto other pitches causing other dog owners to lock dogs in vehicles. No staff or wardens challenged this behaviour even though it could be heard across site. Not policing own rules of 10pm quiet. Left site after 3 hrs sleep and cut short holiday. On a positive staff very apologetic after the fact and offered full refund which was appreciated but would have preferred to have stayed and enjoyed the experience.

Liked: Great well kept site. Staff were very friendly. Guy was very keen to explain the presence of gold in stream and kindly loaned myself and my son the equipment to do some prospect panning. Motor home tv aerial was useless but we were supplied a co axial cable to plug in to site Tv aerial with sockets in every pitch.

Liked: Very pretty water that runs along side, clean site and easily located. Staff super friendly on check in.
Disliked: The toilet block was just too far away. In bad weather this made it really awkward at points. Far too overcrowded for our tastes but seemed like families did enjoy it. Was not happy that the only toilet block was closed at 11am when leaving. Even though it states it’s closed 12-2pm on the sign attached to the building.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: We stayed at the site as a base for walking munroes , the pitch sizes are very good though you do need a long waste pipe for a serviced pitch . We used the shower block which was clean and well maintained . The staff were very friendly and helpful . The train services were excellent and we used this for trips to Mallaig and Fortwilliam , also to get to crainlarich for a walk back to the site
Disliked: Road noise at time worse on a weekend but to be expected .
