Davochfin Farm is a family-run working farm and recreation space situated by the Dornoch Firth with breath-taking views of the Struie Hill. The Farm offers a selection of amenities, including an exclusive CL caravan and motorhome site, three trout-filled lochans for fishing, a ten-bay golf driving and practice range along with a 9 hole pitch and putt course. A variety of walks lead from Davochfin Farm into the nearby woods and also down to the beach, making the location a joy for walkers and dog owners alike. There’s lots of wildlife to see, too with osprey, otters being just a couple of them. We have a BBQ and pizza oven area where can cook your fish after catching it. New to 2024 is our farm tours this exclusive experience to meet our farmers and animals and learn a bit about livestock farming. Davochfin Farm is just one mile from the A9 and the acclaimed NC500 in one direction, and one mile from the local town of Dornoch in the other. So you get the best of both worlds: the tranquillity and seclusion you’d expect of a rural site, as well as quick access to all the shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and other facilities Dornoch has to offer. The numerous attractions of the surrounding area are also within easy reach. Perfect!

  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
  • This site only accepts bookings from existing Caravan and Motorhome Club members: please provide your membership number in the 'Special requests' box when booking.

Local attractions

As well as our onsite activities there are lots of other things to do locally. Dornoch is only 1 mile away and offers lots to see and do. There are shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and our beautiful famous cathedral. Inverness is 45 minutes away on the A9 which passes the outskirts of Dornoch. We are 2miles off the NC500, which is the second most famous route after Route 66 in America. Edinburgh and Glasgow are 3hrs 45 minutes away. John o Groats is 1hr 45 minutes away which makes us a good place to stay and easily commutable to the very north of Scotland. We have lots of lovely walks around the area, Camore woods behind the farm, Skelbo woods less than 5 miles away, the famous Ben Bhraggie is less than 15 miles away.
