Liked: Garry is really helpful tells you where to pitch and comes back to make sure all is well. Don’t forget your ramps! We were here bank holiday weekend and were surprised how quiet it was. The views are amazing to Northern Ireland & Dunskey castle (Which is also worth a wander around in decent footwear) We saw deer, rabbits and sea birds. Excellent walking as you are on the coastal path. We walked to Portpatrick on the coastal path amazing ravines / bridge and some steep stairs but worth it. You can also go the old railway way - in parts can be boggy if it’s rained. We also walked the road way which is longer passing a pub / cafe (didn’t use) On Saturday there is a foodie market and Sunday Craft market - both at the harbour. The carrot cake at the bakery was fabulous, the gift shop & antique shop too. We preferred the Harbour Hotel to sit outside at (dog friendly inside and out) local ales & gins also available etc. Castle Bay is immaculate and we would return.
Disliked: The Elsan needs improving - one of those lift the lid boxes would be better. More water points are required.

Liked: A friendly warm welcome, shown to my pitch which had unobstructed views of the Irish Sea and of Dunskey Castle. A beautifully sunny weekend spent exploring the surrounding area with my wee dog, Bella. Would definitely return as it was such a friendly environment, clean purpose built showering/toilet block. Clean and well maintained park.
Disliked: Nothing…. Well apart from having VW Campervan envy…. Though my Bongo does the job well
