Electric grass pitch
Liked: The bar staff are lovely. Very friendly. Decent size basic pitch. The toilets and showers are kept clean.
Disliked: There are only 2 toilets, 3 showers and 1 washing up sink which is quite a walk, especially during the night. The grass needed cutting in the field as it was very long. The field could do with a bit of TLC. Uneven in places and my friend fell over causing bruises to her hands and knees. The place is on a main road which is noisy during the night. The food is nice in the pub but over priced. The pub closes at 7pm on a Sunday.

Liked: We liked everything about this campsite but the staff in the pub deserve a special mention!!! The friendliest and most attentive team, nothing was too much for them. We felt unbelievably welcome, despite having a 2 and 3 year old with us. Pitches were also very thoughtfully placed on the field with nice distance between everyone. Nice hot showers. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere at all times. We will definitely be back!

Liked: Nothing to dislike . Owners and staff were all friendly . Had to arrive late , going there straight after work and pouring down with rain in the result of road block, the staff were so helpful on the phone . Finally got there and no issues . Super welcome ! I got stuck in the mud with our Motorhome , but a regular farmer came and help us ! What a nice environment. Breakfast was lovely too ! Will come back 100% !
Disliked: Nothing At all !!!

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Every was fantastic! It's a basic site with fairly even grass pitches, understandably a bit squishy in February. Didn't use the showers or the wash up but checked them out and they looked okay, a little bit of a walk from the camping field but not an issue. Every was scrupulously clean. Water, bins and elsan all well maintained and working well. Now for the real gem the pub! Lovely, lovely food with big portions. For what it is it's not expensive either (note this doesn't mean cheap, just means good value). My recommendation: order extra slaw because it's fantastic. Everyone was lovely had a wonderful time speaking to Alan one of the owners who's local knowledge (and enthusiasm for tanks) made us change our plans and visit the tank museum which was exactly the right thing to do.
Disliked: The weather, but no one has any control over that. If you have issues with road noise it may not be the site for you but for us this wasn't an issue and a look at a map should tell you that the site is next to a main road.
