Liked: The site overall was immaculately kept and the amenity’s were fantastic. We really enjoyed the cocktail bar and tennis.
Disliked: Only downside was the walk into Bude but there was a bus service.

From the manager: Dear Ben, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your stay last month as we appreciate the comments that you have made. There is a bus service that stops at Wooda 3 times a day with 3 return times from Bude back to Wooda. Unfortunately, this service does not operate on a Saturday and Sunday or on a bank holiday. There is also a bus service that runs from the village of Poughill Monday to Saturday 4 times a day with 5 return times from Bude back to Poughill. We look forward to welcoming you back to Wooda in the near future. Kind Regards, Wooda Farm Holiday Park

Liked: Massive site with plenty going on, good sized pitches, toilets and showers lovely, modern and clean. Best we have experienced at a camp site.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike but if you wish to have food on site try and book as early as possible, we were unable to get a slot for the takeaway - not the end of the world we had food with us just fancied a night off. It was mega busy and weather wasn’t great so assume the takeaway was busier than usual - again not a moan just more advise for others :)

From the manager: Dear Craig, Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your stay. We are appreciative of all the lovely comments that you have made regarding your pitch and of our facilities. I am sorry to hear that you were unable to book a slot for The Lodge Takeaway. Online orders can be made 2 weeks in advance or upto 4pm on the day or orders can be phoned through from 4.30pm on the day or you are welcome to pop down to the Takeaway and place an order direct. The staff will always do their best to accommodate any orders wanting to be placed. We look forward to welcoming you back to Wooda in the future. Kind Regards, Wooda Farm Holiday Park

Liked: Very Clean toilets and showers. Good base to stay and explore the coast. Dog friendly. Positive vibes.
Disliked: Not all activities for kids are run everyday. We only stayed for two nights and missed the archery.

From the manager: Dear Tom, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your stay as we appreciate the lovely comments that you have made. During peak times, the pottery takes place on a Tuesday and the children’s football, archery and arts and crafts all take place on a Thursday. We do however offer pitch and putt, tennis and badminton 7 days a week. We look forward to welcoming you back to Wooda in the near future. Kind Regards, Wooda Farm Holiday Park

Liked: Luxury site, quiet when we stayed so lovely, but might be a bit overwhelming when busy. Bar and food on site. 2 mile walk to Bude possible on footpaths but take a map. Local pub Preston Gate did the best chips I’ve ever eaten. We had a sea view too!
Disliked: Showers take forever to heat up!

From the manager: Dear Vicki, Thank you for taking the time to post photos from your stay and for leaving a review as we appreciate the comments that you have made. The water in the showers may feel cooler at first especially when there are fewer people showering, but the hot water will run through after a short while. We look forward to welcoming you back to Wooda in the near future. Kind Regards, Wooda Farm Holiday Park

Liked: This is a huge, immaculately presented park. The pitches we were on were a lovely size and had hedges sectioning them off which made it feel more private. They all appeared to have a picnic bench on them. We’re relatively new to our camper van life but of the few parks we’ve been to so far the toilet and shower block here was by far the best. I had to take a video to show people I was so impressed. The only negative is the hair dryers seem to need replacing as cut off after a minute when on hot but I just switched between the 2 and let them cool off in between and this was fine, there are also plenty of plug sockets to take your own and areas to sit and use these with vanity mirrors. We went at the very start of the season so the bar wasn’t open during the week however the takeaway was. The pub along the road (the Preston gate inn) is also lovely and does very nice food but do book as it appears to get very busy. I will definitely return when the sun makes an appearance as I should imagine the park comes to life when it’s full and the suns out. Unfortunately we had the typical British weather and it rained non stop for us.

From the manager: Dear Hannah, Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review following your recent stay as we appreciate all the lovely comments that you have made regarding the park and the facilities that we have to offer. The new shower and toilet facilities which are near to Bramble Park had brand new hairdryers installed when it opened in July last year. The features on these hair dryers are slightly different to household hair driers for safety reasons and therefore for example there is no adjustable heat settings and they will also cut out after at temperature to prevent the risk of fire. We look forward to welcoming you back to Wooda. Kind Regards, Wooda Farm Holiday Park
