Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked: Good size pitches with water available on each one. Friendly helpful staff Fish and chip shop on site a couple of nights a week which is handy for a night off from cooking. Also a coffee shop, bar and well stocked shop. The Ulswater hopper bus stops at the site and takes you to the local areas. We didn’t need the children’s facilities this time but if we had brought our grandsons there would have been plenty for them to do.
Disliked: Nothing to really dislike. The noise of what sounded like a large fan could be heard through the night and was distracting until you got used to it.
