Liked: The couple managing the campsite were very friendly and helpful, ensuring we were quickly settled in following arrival. The toilet and shower facilities were excellent - warm and clean, with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed a drink at the bar in the evening and had a peaceful nights sleep.
Disliked: Could do with a few hooks in the washroom.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we note your comments regarding hooks in the washroom. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed the Champers for Campers bar, we hope we can welcome you back very soon.

Liked: The space - there was plenty, the adults only (lovely and quiet), the bar showing football was lovely and comfortable. The toilets/showers are spotless and lovely and warm and also include hairdryers. The owners/caretakers obviously love their jobs and are very friendly and helpful. Overall 10 out of 10.
Disliked: The weather! There’s not much you can do about that 😂

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: What a lovely clean, peaceful site. The managing staff are extremely friendly and very helpful, the toilet blocks are the best we've seen, and the little bar a gem. We liked it that much we booked an extra night but then ....... families arrived in the log cabins. I booked on the understanding that it was an adults only site, so pitch up are very misleading. If we'd have known families are allowed we wouldn't have booked it. We had children shouting and screaming and playing football for well over two hours opposite our caravan.we like to go away for peace and quiet. If it wasn't as late as it was we'd have packed up and gone home. Everything was perfect till then.
Disliked: It's not an adults only campsite as advertised on pitchup.com. it's very misleading.

From the manager: Dear Mrs Harrison, Thank you for your review and we note your comments. We are sorry we did not fully meet your expectations in this instance. We do allow children in our 5 luxury cabins, but the touring side of the park is adults only, children are not allowed in the facilities block or in the bar and surrounding area. We do hope this has not put you off staying with us, and hope we are able to welcome you back.
