Liked: What a fantastic no frills campsite. We only stayed for the one night but would have no hesitation in staying again and for longer. If you like it basic then this is for you. There's a tap providing clean running water and a portaloo but apart from that there's nothing but open space and peace & quiet. Absolute bliss and really refreshing to find a campsite that caters for those that prefer the basics. Had a great chat with owners who were very friendly and welcoming and a good laugh.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: August bank hol weekend = slim pickings!
Disliked: At just after 8am on a bank hol Sunday the farmer thought it appropriate to fire up his JCB digger to clear some land adjacent to the pitches. An excellent way to vacate your land of visitors.

From the manager: We are sorry you were woken up, unfortunately the land that the machine was on is not part of our land so was nothing to do with us. Pitchup do clear say we are literally a field offering just a toilet and a tap and we do offer our campers ( when they arrive) a field where children can play and we put up some goal posts for them. We are sorry again if you were looking for more facilities but we don’t offer them.
Recommended, just bear in mind there are no showers

Disliked: Literally nothing. Everything was great. Issue with the flush but wouldn’t knock a star off for that.
