Em va agradar: Lovely place to stay. Lovely pub and park area for kids. Staff all friendly and helpful. Outside pizza hut serving food till 9pm

No em va agradar: Bottom field ground a little soft but expected with the weather not really ideal for caravans or folding campers and make sure you select electricity with pitch up in optional extras!

Em va agradar: Lovely site, great views and pitches were generous so no feeling squished. The pub had a great atmosphere and lots of entertainment over the weekend. Staff and owner are so friendly and welcoming. Easy access from the M6 but feels like a very rural location although there are lots of amenities nearby. Lots of walks out from the campsite too. Some of our friends enjoyed it so much they booked to stay an extra night!

Em va agradar: A beautiful little spot with picturesque views over the valley and wildlife. Clean and well maintained spacious pitches and lovely relaxed atmosphere. The pub was lively with a great choice of beers and the live music was excellent quality and an added bonus. We used it as a stop off on the way back to Oxfordshire from the Lake District and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

No em va agradar: Not a dislike but just be careful entering the site from the road if you have a long caravan as ours scraped the ground at the back so take it slow

Em va agradar: Clean, tidy and child friendly. Hard standing pitches are good but grassed pitches were water logged.

No em va agradar: No hot water. Children not allowed in pub after 20:00. Food and drink prices quite high. Only one shower and two toilets.

Del gerent: Hi Anonymous , Thank you for the Liked Points apart from water on Some of the Grass Pitch's Unfortunately we have had a lot of Rain and this was out of our control ?? Ref the Disliked Points , - Most Alcohol establishments have to set this policy of no Under age Children after 8pm ? - Prices are average for our Area, - We had No other Complaints about Hot water but a Hot tap had been Left running on x1 Day ! so presume it would be the Cause , - There are x1 Shower Room + x5 Toilets available ? We are also in the middle of Building a new Shower/Toilet Block additional to the one we have . Hope to see you again when we can get a better Score Like our average of 9.5 Best Regards Team Charlies

Em va agradar: I stayed here with my 10 year old niece. We had the best time, very friendly and my niece loved the animals and park. Will definitely be booking to go back and stay for longer

Em va agradar: The staff were very helpful and explained all about the site on arrival , pitches were big and spaces . It was a little water logged when we arrived but we had received a nice welcoming text the morning off and explained this and they would do what they could to help . The pub was lovely a very nice out side bar over looking the play park and had some good tunes playing over a stereo ( missed the live events wrong days of the week ) , selling pints by the pump and plenty of food options ( but a little expensive really for a family on a budget ) but looked really nice and fresh with a pizza oven in this bar area too

No em va agradar: I don’t really wanna say a dislike but will put it in this section . One toilet and one shower to feed the site is not really quite enough ( more toilets in the bar ) and I’ve been told they are adding more which will defo be a plus

Each year we are moving forward with this sort of thing , but we pride ourselves in what we have etc. so hopefully next time you see a step in the right direction . Regards Team Charlies

Em va agradar: What’s not to like about this site? Lovely staff who were so attentive, they could not do enough for you. The food was excellent, they put on a BBQ for the bank holiday and served delicious burgers, hot dogs and pizzas. The children loved the animals, and the younger ones ( not mine) seemed to enjoy the play park immensely! We watched wildlife, and listened to all sorts of animals. The vibe of the site was so calm and relaxing - we even had sunshine!! On the way home, we got a little stuck in the mud, but angels appeared out of the next pitch and assisted us to get us out! Such lovely people!!! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for sharing this space.
