Set in 52 acres of private grounds and woodland, Lady Edith’s Holiday Park is a peaceful spot to lay your head down for the night close to North Yorkshire’s popular coastline. At 10 minutes’ drive from Scarborough, the site has views to the North Sea on one side and the North York Moors National Park on the other. Whether you’re seeking an adventure, a quick fun-filled break or a quiet getaway just for two, there’s plenty on site to help you on your way. Keep any kids occupied in the play area – cleverly sited opposite the picnic area so you can watch them as you grill up a gourmet treat. The clubhouse on site serves breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and barbecue food on Friday and Saturday evenings. There's also a bar on site, open on weekends, should you fancy a pint. Four-legged companions travelling with you? There are miles of woodland trails in which to exercise them – and that’s without even leaving the holiday park.

Não gostou: No hot water in pot wash Camp field was not v pictureque, next to a van of gas bottles Annoying peacock!!

Gostou: The setting was beautiful and the pitches were level.

Não gostou: The site was not family friendly. There was broken glass in the children's play area on two occasions, along with huge amounts of litter that my seven year old and I ended up living up each morning. The toilets had no paper in any cubicle by Monday. There was a bar onsite and the place got very rowdy and noisy. Music and swearing until the early hours on the site itself. There were also piles of rubbish at the entrance and next to the tent only section.

Gostou: Great location, pitch size was good , staff very friendly, club house bar prices very good , good atmosphere, showers 20p for 2 mins . Will definitely return

Gostou: Lovely location rural feel but close to activities in Scarborough and around. Liked the play park, social outside area and site pub. Very friendly hosts and showers/toilets very clean. Site well looked after.

Não gostou: Very much a caravan park feel and therefore camping area felt slightly like an after thought

Gostou: Owners very friendly, toilets showers and bar very clean and tidy. Park brilliant 4kids. Pitches very spacious. Location fantastic. Lovely peace surroundings.

Não gostou: No bins however they come round to collect rubbish in a morning. Only 1 toilet block next to bar. Bottom section very run down. Play field over grown and very boggy.

Gostou: Absolutly fantastic site, clean access great Bar fantastic the welcome is second to non, the owner bought us a drnk and encouraged us to join him and his freinds as we were a couple sat alone as our children were away with all the other children having a absolute riot of fun, this site is 10** booked to return and will be back very soon thanks for the lovely weekend and great welcome xx food a bbq hut was WOW!!

Não gostou: had to leave, although we were tempted to stay forever!!

Gostou: Yes really enjoyed my weekend here , the owner was lovely even came to help me pitch up , and treat my friends grand daughter 🧒 in the club house , toilets n showers were lovely n clean , just needed hot water to wash up other than great 👍

Atrações locais

Lively Scarborough (10 minutes’ drive) has a couple of long sandy beaches divided up by a rocky headland topped by the ruins of the town’s 11th-century castle. Have a potter along the prom in South Bay, and then head over to North Bay for views of the town and seascape. Kids in tow? Make for Peasholm Park (five minutes) to hire a pedalo on the lake, play mini-golf or feed the cheeky grey squirrels with peanuts sold on site. And Scarborough’s not the only family seaside resort in the vicinity. Head to Bridlington (35 minutes) for amusement arcades, high-speed RIB cruises from the harbour and fish and chips on the prom. Filey (20 minutes) is the place for feeding chattering birds in Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park, or taking long strolls along the sweeping sandy beach. There are bracing hikes to be had along the white cliffs of Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast (35 minutes), or sections of the long-distance Cleveland Way (10 minutes). If the kids have still got too much energy after that, let them loose on the inflatable climbing course at North Yorkshire Water Park (15 minutes).
