Gostou: Lovely site, great having the river by our pitch for son to use his SUP. Will definitely stay again

Gostou: Absolutely beautiful setting and surrounding. The waterside pitches where we stayed had access down the the river with little docks, so we could sit in the sun, drinking beer and get in the water if we wanted. Lovely countryside walks easily accessible from the site too. Toilet block was clean and showers had great pressure and hot water. The cafe onsite served delicious sandwiches and toasties with ice creams and drinks. All the staff I dealt with were nice, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

Não gostou: There's wasn't much to do for the kids. Although the river access and walks were good, a small park would be ideal for younger children.

Gostou: A nice site in a great location for walking and enjoying the river. The little cafe was a very welcome addition to the site - what about some visiting food vans too?

Não gostou: We would have liked cleaner, tidier washroom facilities, and more of them. There’s one block, and it is quite a trek from parts of the site to use them, especially in the middle of the night! Perhaps provide a mop to clean up after showering too, the floors all got pretty grubby.

In reply to your comment concerning food vans visiting - I'm afraid that unless we could guarantee a given number would use them it is not viable for them to visit us. Gostou: Clean and pretty site, Riverside Cafe Availability of toilets / showers / washing up always good Level pitches, good grass coverage Electric easy

Não gostou: Pitches quite close together given size of field available. Showers were a bit hit and miss (sometimes dirty, sometimes cold) - missed a mop to clean up

Gostou: The near by River, lots of nature walks and ducklings. Great shower and kitchen facilties.

Não gostou: A but cramped and close to other pitches.

Gostou: Freedom and open spaces to put up your tent where you like !

Gostou: The open space around the site. Large pitches.

Não gostou: The floors in the showers/toilets were always filthy, which made showering difficult without getting muddy feet or clothes. Although the pitches were large, there could have been a better physical devide. The motor that parked next to us was only around 1 metre away with windows looking into ours!

Gostou: Beautiful location in nature. There are attractive villages with a historical background nearby. Proximity to Stamford.

Não gostou: The toilets, shower rooms and washing up rooms were not clean and therefore unpleasant to use.
