Me gustó: What a gem of a campsite, great pitches and easy walking distance to the beautiful Lake Bala. From arriving at Reception the staff are very friendly, the shower block is amazing and the separate basins etc are a great touch (if you are weird like me and can’t watch people brushing their teeth!) overall we loved it and will be back again

No me gustó: I think the campsite has a chilled relaxed vibe but is lacking either a restaurant/cafe or even a pizza van or small bar onsite- it’s not a huge necessity but would be nice to stay onsite rather than walking to town for a cold pint

Occasionally we have a pizza van on site ( all dates and details are on the website, Instagram ) and we also have a small trailer selling tea/ coffee/ cakes etc on certain dates again you would have to check. We decided very early on that a bar on site would be a bad idea as on occasions we have some customers who don't know when to stop!!! We look forward to seeing you here again in the near future. Me gustó: Beautiful campsite, clean and quiet. Great facilities. Friendly staff.

No me gustó: Our pitch was on a slope. Not good with little ones, things became very muddy and slippy.

With regards to your pitch, it was one of our flatter pitches so I'm surprised you would describe it as on a slope... Also, we have had the hottest, sunniest weather of the year so far this past weekend and I have been up to check the pitch this morning and there was no sign of any muddy patches. It may have become slippy due to the dew in the mornings but that is something out of our control unfortunately.

Me gustó: Accommodation was top class with full kitchen ,comfy beds, TV to keep kids busy when cooking , Bala lake round the corner , park was clean and toilet/ shower block to very good condition

Me gustó: Very clean, well maintained, easy check in. Quiet, respectful families, couples and groups in the community that stayed. Picturesque views, homely vibe and close to Town centre

No me gustó: 1. Bathroom attendant was very rude to people, we appreciate she’s doing a great job in keeping the facility clean. But we didn’t expect the reception of attitude from her towards paying guests. Not all visitors are as she clearly perceives 2. Venue is not attached to the lake, though this did not matter to us. It could be a sticking point to others if not advised clearly during point of sale. 3. Might have been us but couldn’t connect to WiFi
