Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: The owner was very friendly, the site was immaculate including the bathrooms and toilets. Our pitch was hardstanding and a generous size. Its a beautiful location and we felt close to nature.
Disliked: This is a suggestion rather than a 'dislike', on arrival it wasn't clear where to find the owner so an email to explain details or some signage would have been helpful.

Liked: I loved the whole place. Warm showers, nice toilets, friendly people. I could not have thought of a better place to stay for the night. We have recommended to everyone.
Disliked: The bath mat in the shower was *squelchy* - no idea how else to discribe it.

Electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: We had an amazing holiday made all the better by staying at Oaklea. The site is a lovely quiet very smart well kept site. The location is great, 20 minutes from beaches and towns and in a quiet peaceful stop. The one stand out feature was how clean the toilet/shower block was, as a family we have stayed at lots of sites none as good when it comes to cleanliness. The owners were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I mentioned to Jayne if there was anywhere to dry my hair because I hadn’t got a mirror in my tent. Whilst having my shower I then went into the kitchen area to use the plug socket and there was a mirror for me. This kind of service was truly fabulous. We will be back!

Shepherd's hut
Liked: We loved everything about this site. So clean, so quiet, games room, drying room and conservatory was a massive bonus. We stayed in a shepherds hut and it had everything we needed for all 4 of us. We used the outdoor picnic area and bbq area almost every day which was perfect. We were able to explore lots of the local area from site by our car and discovered some hidden gems and lots more still to discover when we return next year. Jane and Barry 100% made the site, so caring, friendly and knowledgeable on the local area they couldn’t do enough for you. Jane works so hard on keeping everything clean and her hard work shows. 100% would return to this site either in the shepherds hut or bring our tent to camp. Thank you Oaklea for a amazing family holiday xx
