Liked: We loved the open garden and decking space. Very peaceful with lovely view. Cabin well thought out with practically everything you need, well stocked with appliances and kitchenware too. Decor was lovely, only 10/15 minute drive to Derry aswell :)

Local attractions

A tour of the Inishowen 100 route is pretty much a must, whether you drive it or take bikes out. The 100-mile route takes in some of the most spectacular scenery this area has to offer, including places like Buncrana beach (10 minutes’ drive), Glenevin Waterfall (35 minutes) and the Doagh Famine Village (40 minutes). A little closer to home, you might like to visit the atmospheric ruins of Burt Castle or the native animals of Wild Ireland (both 10 minutes), or take a drive/cycle over to Inch Island to go birdwatching and see more closely the scenery you’ve spotted from the cabin window. Although the natural landscapes are gorgeous in this area, it’s also worth taking some time in the city of Derry/Londonderry (20 minutes), to walk the city walls, cross the Peace Bridge and visit the Museum of Free Derry. There are several nice places to eat in the city too, and it's even better if you can manage to catch one of the Walled City Markets.
