Off to Cornwall? Fancy a lush Land’s End retreat, surrounded by spectacular scenery and with easy access to piles of crackingly handsome coastal footpaths? Give Treverven Touring Caravan and Camping Park a try. This is a peaceful, clean, relaxed and family-run place on the Land’s End peninsula, hidden away enough to be a quiet retreat in busy summer months, but close to the beaches and towns of this part of Cornish coast. (Porthcurno is less than two miles away and Sennen Cove within four.) Along with its spectacular scenery and easy coast path access, Treverven has the Croust House kitchen and takeaway open in high season (please bring along your own cutlery and plates), and a well-stocked site shop selling all essentials from bread, milk and baked beans to camping gas and phone and laptop chargers. Chilled wine and beer is on sale too for evening barbies. Treverven also has a central play area with swings, a slide, a sandpit, basketball hoops and a football goal; modern toilets and showers sorted with hairdryers, and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Liked: Peaceful place to stay. The shop open at good times for conveniences. Clean toilets and shower block. Friendly reception on arrival and in the morning

Disliked: The takeaway wasn’t open when we were there, but probably down to the fact it was end of season

Liked: Plenty of space round each pitch, hedges to deaden sound and provide privacy. Lots of picnic benches around. Stunning views. Easy access to the coast path.

Disliked: Shower block and toilets just a bit cramped. Not bad, but not the best.

Liked: This is SUCH a fab site. Warmly welcomed as we arrived, my two girls (5 & 6) were super eager to get out on to the play park that was right in the middle by the reception/shop/ facilities. We were pitched close by so I could sit and let the children play within my line of sight. There is plenty of room and lots of space for children to play around in and make new friends! The shop was well stocked and I had to replenish some items ( including a bottle of wine….🍷 ) Additionally, if you didn’t want to cook for yourself there was a hatch that did hot food which of course, we tried!! 🧑‍🍳 😘 👌 The pitches were clean and tidy. I had EHU which was easy to hook up to and fresh water tap was next to it. Washing up facilities were more than adequate as were the showers and toilets ( including hairdryers!) The owners and staff members were pleasant and helpful and we were in fact quite sad to have only stayed a couple of nights. I have no doubt we shall be back.

Disliked: Not really a dislike but worth noting, I was there on my own with two small children and there was one family/ disabled access shower room which always seemed to be occupied and whilst I waited on a couple of occasions for it to be free so I could go in with my children I eventually gave up and squeezed us in to the normal showers. Which….. I managed ok with it just took a bit of logistical thinking so we didn’t soak our belongings or ourselves after showering 😂 I don’t want this to put anyone off but was more for awareness as I say, we really loved and enjoyed this site and would recommend it to anyone

Treverven Touring Caravan and Camping Park is in highly nifty locale for settling down among and getting to some of the most topping spots in Cornwall, away from busy tourist resorts but with easy access to some smashing beaches. Pednovander, Porthcurno, Porrthgwara, Porthchapel and Sennen Cove are all within five miles of the site; for evenings out, the Minack Theatre is three and a half miles away and two decent pubs are within two miles. Also within easy reach for day trips are magnif St Michaels Mount and Penzance, both within about eight miles. Miles of coastal path are around the site too: from Porthcurno past the Minack and via a couple of dog-friendly pubs, or along to the tiny fishing cove of Porthgwarra, a birdwatching haven where you’ll be able to spot gannets, fulmars and possibly a red kite or two circling round overhead.
