Liked: Pitching site was small and intimate with fantastic views, managed to pitch up directly in-front of the stream. Cabin toilets were available on the pitching site and were clean and well up-kept. Beautiful little place.

Liked: Really love this quiet little site laying my tent listening to the gentle patter of rain and the stream and the sheep. Fine views onto the hills and a walk up the knoll behind. Small fox and sunset - lovely!

Liked: Very nice camping site by the river, quiet and convenient. Can park just by the gate and toilet on site. Dogs allowed but better to keep a close eye on them as sheep wandering around the site.

Liked: The location was great - it was very peaceful with beautiful scenery. The children and I also enjoyed watching the lambs skipping around and playing. There was plenty of space, the toilet facilities were good, and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I liked everything.

Liked: Back to basic camping, everything which we expected. Jayne was lovely and came to meet up when we arrived, toilet block was clean and plenty of toilet roll available with Jayne’s phone number available if needed. We had a good stay shame about the weather but is a great campsite if you want to go back to basics and enjoy the countryside.
Disliked: It wasn’t so much of a problem but would of been helpful to of been able to park car in field while putting tent up to save carrying to and from car but it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Liked: Very easy to reach, picturesque location with a lovely stream running alongside the field we camped on (which made for a very cozy sleep). A lovely woman named Jayne came to welcome us to the site and made sure we had settled in. The site is advertised to be a “quiet site” but nobody seemed to mind music or podcasts on as long as the volume was low. The toilets aren’t going to be winning any awards, but the toilet did what it says on the tin! We would definetely camp there again as it was a nice chilled bank holiday weekend away. There are plenty of pubs in Kendal (which is only a 5-10 minute drive away from the campsite) to choose from if you want to go out for a couple drinks and some food during the day. Overall I am happy to have stayed at this campsite and would recommend others stay there if you’re looking for a relaxing couple days with family or friends :)
