Liked: It was a lovely stay. The campsite was very well looked after. There are very clean toilets, showers and separate washing up area. Very pleased with the stay. Not far from the village and the walk is enjoyable due to the beautiful scenery.
Disliked: Unfortunately, it was extremely windy when we stayed. We were so scared the tent would collapse.

Liked: it was average
Disliked: We walked the coast to coast and this was the most expensive campsite, while the facilities weren't overwhelming . For this price you would expect a campers kitchen (kettle/tea bags etc., places for charging your phones ). There was, no hot water for washing (dishes and clothes). An honesty box for the shower (with this price)?? We visited campsites with far better facilities for prices like 9 of 10 pound per person. So lower the prices (for walkers) or improve the facilities to have a better value for money.

Liked: Nice place, friendly owner. As we were a group of males, no were else would take us but she gave us the chance and we in return didn't cause any grief. Toilets were good and close enough to robins hood bay.
Disliked: Field was a bit wet but we could understand that with recent flooding everywhere

Liked: The views, the location, the animals. Getting up every morning to a sea view was wonderful. The campsite is in a great location. There is a path right outside the campsite that leads directly to Robin Hood's Bay within about 10-15 mins and the path itself is a really nice walk. The campsite is on a farm with horses, ponies, ducks, chickens and peacocks and it was lovely seeing all the animals doing their thing each day. The ducks were especially cute waddling about the campsite sometimes. The lady who runs the site is very friendly.
Disliked: Very basic facilities for the price. I have been to campsites in locations rivalling in beauty, for less than half the amount per night, with far superior facilities. There was just an outdoor wooden toilet and shower block, with 2 toilets, 1 shower (for £1 a go), an outdoor sink with only cold water for hand washing, another outdoor sink also only with cold water for dish washing, and another cold tap for drinking water. The lack of hot water for washing hands and dishes got to me eventually. We had some cold wet weather and it was just miserable having no hot water unless I wanted to have a shower (which also was not appealing as the shower was not in a heated block but in a wooden box outdoors so I would be coming straight out of the shower into the cold and rain and mud). There was no office or anything like that, many campsites at least have an office where they let you charge your phone and sometimes sell snacks and tea and coffee. I think the price per night should be cheaper given how basic the facilities are, or if they are charging that price, they should at least provide hot water for hand washing and dish washing. They would also do well to sell tea and coffee and snacks on site, they could make their money back from the hot water that way, and the campers would appreciate it during cold miserable weather.
