Valley View primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Such a beautiful location with views over looking Northumberland. Everything you need and very clean toilets and shower. Friendly staff who showed us around, can easily get a taxi to the nearest town and ever order takeaway if you’re too tired to fire up the jet boil.
Disliked: The pitches (at least where our pitch was) is slightly hilly.

Liked: The views we’re breath taking and the hospitality was amazing. Couldn’t fault my experience one bit. I enjoyed every minute of it and I will be definitely coming back next year!
Disliked: The only thing I disliked was my fault, and that was going late September, next year I’ll be going in the summer.

Valley View primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The site was very quiet and peaceful (I was not there in the peak holiday season), the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities (toilet, shower, dish-washing sink) clean and adequate. The villages of Acomb and Wall are about a mile away. Acomb has three pleasant pubs, Wall one (which I didn't manage to visit). It's handy for the Hadrian's Wall footpath and other walks in the area.
Disliked: Nothing.
