Liked: Great facilities and lovely campsite. Friendly and helpful staff in Reception/shop. Nice little play area for kids and a small walk to the country park.
Disliked: Was very noisy at night for a family with young kids. Loud music playing and singing/swearing in neighbouring tents until about 11 at night. Not a massive problem, just people having a good time but just something to consider if you have young kids with you.

Liked: Nice clean campsite, great facilities and a short taxi ride to Nottingham town centre. Staff were helpful when we had issues with our van and overstayed on our pitch whilst waiting for a recovery.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: We love this site. Everybody is always helpful and other visitors are friendly. The location is great to visit the watersports centre too.
Disliked: Sometimes the staff cannot keep on top of the cleaning of showers when the grass is muddy so they can be dirty at times

From the manager: Thankyou for your review , we are glad that you enjoy our site and that our team is so helpful. Sorry that you feel the facility blocks can be dirty at times, we have put even further staff on this season to try and reduce this happening in wet weather times.

Liked: Considering how close the location was to city centre, it was fairly remote wasn’t hardly any noise. The shower/ toilet facilities were in really good order as well.
Disliked: Felt a bit expensive, at reception I explained we have a tent box, and asked if it’s ok to leave the vehicle on the grass I did ask if there was any hard standing we could park on considering weather Conditions, one member of staff seemed really lovely the other not too much. In summary they said it was fine to just drive and stay on the grass. We drove to our designated pitch next to the water point which was very useful, but at night it seems to have the brightest light so if you are pitched up next to a water point be sure to have light proof shelter. That night it rained so much that if we had not packed up and moved the car when we decided to we would of been stuck. Can’t blame them for weather but I can’t see how spending 30 quid to be parked on water logged grass and having to leave early to avoid being stuck is feasible. Shouldn’t be that expensive!
