Liked: Friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Everything we needed was there, hard standing pitches were a good size, levelling blocks were required but not a problem. All the usual facilities on site, all working, all clean, might be a bit short in peak season if the site gets busy, from memory only three or four toilet/shower cubicles. Make sure you have everything you need/want with you if you don't want to drive off site to get it, nothing available in the village, except a pub we didn't try.
Disliked: Nothing really!

Liked: Friendly owner on-site, easy two nighter over Ironman Tenby weekend. Quiet, felt rural yet so easy to get about. More than adequate sized pitch. Quirky mini container toilets (take your own hand towel). Roomy wet room style showers. Basic but perfectly adequate. Ok I read the earlier reviews before my stay and comments about copious hand written signs, I won’t be negative as I’ve no doubt many would find them useful and they are intended to be helpful, others are just simple reminders that have probably become necessary such as turning off a tap. Something to read while you pee! It’s got to be better than a big notice board, the info is exactly where relevant. Our stay was camping as it should be, basic and sociable - what’s not to like?

Liked: Campsite is a nice location
Disliked: Firstly I should explain I never leave reviews good or bad but on this occasion I have to speak up. We had a terrible drive due to traffic in terrible weather and the owner told us off on arrival for being late for check in at 7pm when we finally arrived. It got worse from there on there seemed to be a lot of rules that were not explained and Iv never come across in camp sites before (we are very seasoned campers) and we felt incredibly uncomfortable and as if we were an inconvenience to the owner rather than paying customers. The owner actually told us off at one point because friends who lived in the area had joined us for a bbq despite us having filled a form in with her son clearly stating we had day visitors. Owner has provided in my option the bear minimum she can get away with and expects people to be great full for this. Fire wood and fire pit is the most expensive Iv come across and the wood was terrible very damp very light weight wood. Wouldn’t go back if you paid me avoid!!!

From the manager: Hi, sorry for the bad weather not a good start to your stay. Our check in time is 3.pm to 6.pm, If guests are going to be late or outside this time to phone ahead to let us know please. Visitors are ask to checks and sign in so we know who is on the site . The fire wood is from a company located to us and the wood has always been first class , The wood should be kept dry and out of the rain so it makes it easier to burn. Thank you for your stay 😊
A good experience. Quiet at night. Not far from the coast. No Wi-Fi?
