Liked: The owners were really friendly and helpful. The campsite is kept really well and the toilets/showers are clean and in good condition. We were able to say hello to all the farm animals, including horses, sheep and goats who were really friendly too! Overall a really great stay, close to the coast and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend coming here and would come here again!

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Honest & kind owners as I accidentally over paid them by £10 and they came down to our pitch to let us know. Our car battery was also dead the following morning and the owner very kindly jump started us on his tractor. Really nice campsite with clean toilets & showers, with also a washing up facility. Lovely views with horses. 16 amp too which is a bonus. Would highly recommend

Liked: The location. No tokens for the shower. Toilet paper was supplied.
Disliked: Facilities need renovations. Questions on the review - why do I have to identify social classification. I paid my money. I liked it, would return. Keep it simple!

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us an optional review. Unfortunately the review system is nothing to do with us but rather Pitchup so we cannot ammend what they ask, however we can only advise that reviews are optional and if you feel uncomfortable about any questions please feel free to opt out or email pitchup directly regarding your concerns. We pride ourselves on being a basic but adequately equipt, family run campsite. Our facilities are basic but fit for purpose, seperate toilets and shower areas with hot water. We apologise these facilities did not meet your expectations. The accomodation was not supplied by ourselves as this is for each individual guest to supply their own tent/ camper. We appreciate the time you have given to leave us a pitchup review.

From the manager: Glad you enjoyed your stay. Our facilities on site are basic as stated on pitchup, we pride ourselves on being as remote and close to nature as possible, whilst still offering a comfortable stay with us. We have hot water in the bathrooms which visitors usually use to fill up their own washing up bowls in order to wash up. We aim to be as budget friendly as possible which does mean that we don't necessarily have all the mod cons of a larger site but we make up for it in location, views and peace and quiet. We look forward to you visiting in the future.

Liked: Lovely quiet small site. Basic but clean, well stocked and working facilities, friendly and helpful people.Nice little catering van open twice a day and you can rent fire pits and buy logs (and if you're like my other half, fall in love with the pygmy goats!)10 mins from Bridport and supermarkets and a lovely little pub down a pretty track, less than 10 mins walk. Would definitely go back for a chilled weekend.
Disliked: Hot water for washing up would be nice but not a deal breaker
