Liked: This was our 1st ever camping experience and I am very happy we chose the Hop farm and had a great time. The washrooms were very clean and that’s a must for me. The walking path is lovely. And the farm is so big just spread over so much area.

Liked: The staff were very friendly, site not to busy at all. Very very clean wash and toilet facilities. Location excellent We camped practically in a field of our own. Excellent location to local facilities and the river medway.
Disliked: The random teenagers that come in the site as it's a footpath and cause problems, violent aggressive behavior and criminal damage No fault at all of the staff and hop farm. More of a local youth problem. Such a shame.

Liked: This campsite is honestly my favourite place to go now, the staff are really friendly & lovely to chat with. The facilities are some of the best, toilets FREQUENTLY cleaned, store onsite has some nice bits you can grab. Liked: Lovely clean site with so much space for the kids to explore and run around. Facilities were clean Short walk to the local café and Co-op with a lovely view of the river Medway Shop onsite was nicely stocked with friendly staff.
Disliked: Did not see anywhere to empty waste water Shower cubicles were a little small but adequate for what we needed Maybe could have a play area for the children as well but not essential as there was plenty for them to explore.

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us. The waste water goes in with the chemical waste near the toilet block. We hope to see you again soon.

Liked: Nice lady in reception, put us on better pitch as was quiet this weekend! The shower at ygg her e end was huge and nice, the others were a bit small! Could do with a mop, as a lot of grass gets carried in ! Car boot both days which was good, weather was fab so used the river with our kayak, made it to the pub, quite a long way along the river, but fun day !
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Large fields with loads of walking space especially as we had our dog with us. Very pleasant walk through the perimeter trees leading to the river with locks and a weir. Staff are very pleasant and polite and the facilities are clean. Pub is only a small walk away as is a cafe which can be found by walking along the river path.
Disliked: We took our 3 year old granddaughter who was looking forward to the farm animals but this had been shut and by the looks of it, never to open again ( very disappointing as we was not told it had closed when we booked) also the adventure climbing area is closed and run down. In all so much could be done to improve this site.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and that you enjoyed yourselves. The Hop farm family park has been closed since the beginning of 2023 and this is advertised as closed on Pitchup when you make a booking. The adventure climbing area has been closed for several years and their website page gives you alternative venues with one of them being just a few miles away. We hope to see you again soon.
