Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: I suppose there was some comedy value in the post-apocalyptic appearance of this campsite - and the alpacas seemed happy enough.
Disliked: No one on reception. The 3 minute walk to the showers through overgrown brambles. The "scrapyard" appearance which disguised any suggestion this was a bona fide campsite.

Liked: The site is really beautiful and quiet. I was looking for a quiet and simple camp site and it was exactly what I was looking for. The showers are warm too. There are loads of nice coastal walks nearby.

Liked: Try not to be put off by first impressions. The site entrance and facilities could definitely do with a tidy up and update but the camping field was spacious with fire areas for each pitch. Kids loved the alpacas and Tony the owner was warm and welcoming.

Liked: Remote and peaceful location, large field with surrounding wooded areas. Very safe for children to play and explore whilst parents could relax and chill. Tony the owner is very friendly and on hand to help if required but leaves you to get on with it. Was able to have a camp fire. We walked to Mundesley along the Norfolk Coastal path (45 minutes) and got the bus back (hourly on a Saturday). No local pub but we walked to Woodlands (30 minutes along fields and country lanes). We loved the alpacas.
Disliked: Very basic / old facilities but was clean. Quite remote but ok for a weekend.

Liked: Liked how peaceful the campsite was and how friendly owner was and that you could have a camp fire to toast marshmallows and the lama's, I liked how there was things within a short distance for supplies,if you want no frills then it's ideal or if to use it just as a base, not a bad price £64 for 4 nights
Disliked: Very dirty run down toilets which I cleaned before use and washing up facilities which had no hot water and shower block very run down and miles away from campsite,I thought I was on a bush tucker trial from im a celebrity ha ha,however owner said he has put prices up now which is a shame as not worth £12pppn with such poor facilities

Liked: The owners were lovely and welcoming. Toilets were clean and the shower water was hot.
Disliked: The campsite is in a very secluded area and there is not a lot around. It was a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket.

Liked: Laid back basic camp. Perfect for a weekend location for trips out. Showers are hot just what we needed as the weather was terrible! Our second stay at Green Gables and sure to not be our last.

Liked: Maybe just price ....
Disliked: We have went just for one night to Norfolk coast and wanted easy campsite, unfortunately upon arrival campsite looked very shabby and not inviting. There was noone there to speak to. It is just one field behind some farm with lot of stuff just laying around. Not a campsite I would expect. We didn't stay there in the end, we went to a different camp site 2mile up the road.
