The Opal Coast… a name that brings to mind white cliffs, windswept beaches and beach huts of all colours. Then there’s Lake Ardres… that spot has shot to popularity too, mostly because of its gentle waters surrounded by the Brêmes countryside. Tucked to one side of the lake in its lush green surrounds is Camping Le Courtil Rose. The lakeside site has its own set of attractions: a quiet and dog-friendly being one of the key ones. There’s a pétanque pitch and lots of practical facilities too (showers, toilets and launderette included). Access to the lake is one of the most exciting parts. Rent an electric bike and take a lap of the lakeshore or pack yourself up a picnic and pick a pretty spot for a relaxed day by the water. There are restaurants (both alongside the lake and not) within walking distance of the site, as well as shops. When you’re ready to trade that fresh water for the salty kind, Calais beach on the Opal Coast is but a 25-minute drive away from the site. With the ships gliding to and from shore, and a line of beach huts, it’s a special spot. Also along the coast, about 25 minutes’ drive away is Plage de Sangatte, a popular patch for windsurfing, kitesurfing, fishing, sand yachting and horse riding.

Em va agradar: Great location, 20mins from ferry, area is very beautiful and Tony was welcoming and recommended a loverly walk to the middle of the lakes where you could hire pedalos/kayaks and nice bar there. Excellent value for money.

No em va agradar: Nothing disliked, we had read reviews about toilets etc but took our own stuff we were camping so do this anyway. The facilities were clean whilst we were there so no issues at all.

Em va agradar: Lovely close location to le shuttle clean and well presented with good clean facilities and the owner was very helpful and friendly will definitely be back soon

No em va agradar: Only one downside and it’s not the park or people I have no problem paying for shower time however if they could make you aware before arrival that would be great obv coming straight from the uk had no euro change but again not a big deal more of a web info issue

Em va agradar: Around 30 minutes' drive from Calais, which is why we chose it as we were on the way home. Large pitch we had to ourselves. Toilets clean-ish. Busy with caravans but quiet. Close by a lake and a pleasant-looking village, but as it was persistently raining we didn't have the chance to explore. Receptionist was friendly enough.

No em va agradar: Toilets and shower facilities a bit basic and not the cleanest... had to clean one toilet before using it; no toilet paper or handwash/dryer. You have to pay one euro to use the showers, and as we didn't have a euro coin we couldn't do so.

Del gerent: Good morning sorry for the inconvenience with the toilets we have installed toilet paper, soap, hand dryer etc.. for the dirty toilet all it takes is a dirty person to go first and this is the result... for the coinage for the showers I am always available and without a coin changer it is impossible BR Tony

Em va agradar: Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich. Haben 2 Stellplätze erhalten da sehr leerer Campingplatz. Gute Anbindung zur Fähre.

No em va agradar: Es gab kein Toilettenpapier, keine Seife zum Hände waschen oder eine Abtrockenmöglichkeit. Der gemischte Dusch-Toilettenbereich war allgemein nicht angenehm. Alles war sehr spartanisch.

Em va agradar: Very welcoming and friendly owner. Toilet and washing up blocks have recently been refurbished. Showers were lovely and warm, but are coin-operated at 1 euro for 8 minutes (which is plenty of time for two people to shower). This was the perfect first night stop for us after arriving from channel crossing.

Itineraris

Large motorhomes and caravans should access the site via Rue Goudenove, followed by Rue Transversale, to avoid the bridge at the entrance to Rue du Watergang. Also pay attention to the bridge coming from Calais when you turn right on Rue du Contre Hallage in Les Attacks.

Llocs d'interès

Set off for Calais (20 minutes’ drive), a port town lined with white cliffs. The City of Lace and Fashion is one of its famed museums, telling the story of the town's craft-making past in a 19th-century lace factory. That Opal Coast is calling too… walks-wise, the chalk cliffs of Cap Blanc-Nez (35 minutes) with views over the English channel must surely take the priority. For seaside cities, however, Boulogne-sur-Mer (40 minutes) is first call. The city walls, built in the 13th century, are a clue to the interesting history. The Norman castle has ancient Egyptian and Greek artefacts and an art gallery. If you get the chance, you might want to check out Wimereux (40 minutes), near Boulogne-sur-Mer. A sandy beach backed by a sea wall and promenade, and lined with 19th-century villas, makes for a splendid beach day.

Admissió

Qualsevol persona que passi la nit al càmping haurà de presentar el document d'identitat a recepció i completar els tràmits necessaris.

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
Les parcel·les o els allotjaments s'assignaran en arribar al càmping.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Extres

Es poden portar motos en lloc dels cotxes inclosos en el preu.
L'ús de les dutxes està subjecte a un cost addicional de 1,00 €.

En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
