Em va agradar: Northing save your money shame i got to give it 1 stair it should be none.

No em va agradar: we turned up on site omg yes we have had rain but the hardstanding was so muddy it was under water my van got stuck in the mud and they was a pond in the middle of hand standing with the mud.so i said to owner where do we pitch is it anywhere or is they a place oh he said your the one who wanted elec so said yes, no was no elec on site he said have you got a 3 way plug if so you just have to plug it into the extension lead for the bouncy castle which on pitch up they said they had elec and a extra £10.00 per night, so he told us to park on the hand standing in the mud and pitch next to the hand standing the grass or should i say weeds was over grown not been cut it was they wet and muddy you sink in the ground, so we drove off they was not way we was staying in that, so if you read this don't brother staying and save your money and don't pay for elec as they was none, because not right saying extra for elec and they is none on site, as you can tell i did not stay i drove off and park up on side of road and found a lovely campsite in Preston. only which i got photos but i was that tried when i got there and so disappointed i just wanted to get of there and go elsewhere.

Del gerent: We DO NOT allow vans on site in normal weather This month we had extreme wet weather By their own admission, they arrived on site with a van ! Out of kindness for the kids , we put them in the only spot we could Contrary to what hey say , they stayed for two nights and kids enjoyed themselves near the bouncy castle On departure they pinched our fire pit and fancy lighter WE HAVE PROPER ELECTRIC HOOK UPS ON SITE. The simply were unable to reach them in their heavy banned van in extreme wet conditions

Del gerent: Thanks Hot water is being resolved for the washing up area. Very busy and system have up Hot water in showers and toilets were perfect though

Em va agradar: We had a great time, the owner is a lovely man, very helpful, it was also a very quiet area to stay you only here a bit off traffic, definitely safe for children to play, their were also a bouncy castle for the children to play, and the owner offered the children a ride on his quad

No em va agradar: Just the floor of the showers, was a little muddy nothing you can’t clean

No em va agradar: Washing facilities look homemade although they do work. No locks on doors. No hot water to wash up. Owner seems obsessed with cramming tents close together (possibly took too many bookings) Field is a bog Big old part burnt bonfire in same field

Del gerent: We are a popular site and it was a very busy weekend. ! We have a bonfire on a Saturday night Can’t be cleared up whilst still hot just to make site pretty or we don’t have bonfire at all May have to cancel bonfire in view of comment We can’t be blamed for the weather !

Em va agradar: Good location to explore surrounding areas. Owner always present on site. Basic facilities on site. ponies/horses graze in the field in the mornings which is a treat to wake up to.

No em va agradar: Lots of midges and horse flies- take repellent!

Em va agradar: We both liked the facilities that Jacksmere camping had to offer, the views overlooking the neighbouring fields were amazing, they had a swimming pool and bouncy castle for kids and even if you didn’t book an electric pitch they had a few outdoor sockets for you to recharge your items. There is electric pitches you can pay for extra as-well. The farmer gave the children a ride around on the quad and made them really happy lovely people and good campsite.

No em va agradar: The field was rather long and could have done with a cut as our car is quite low and collected all the flowers and grass as we drove to our pitch, when booking you get told the bathrooms are cleaned every half an hour but we didn’t see them once get cleaned, the swimming pool for children was green and children couldn’t go into it. The campsite also was a pony field where the ponies would be let out to roam around so don’t forget to close the gate .There are electric pitches however these are under the trees and putting a tent under the trees to let the birds poo on the tent and windbreaks isn’t the best. The field was not quite flat and the pitches are just anywhere you like.

Del gerent: It’s the end of season for camping so we close the pool as it was to cold and the grass is no longer cut as it has to feed the ponies over the winter months Come during the active season and you will see a different picture

Em va agradar: Nothing, didnt even get to stay.

No em va agradar: How he answered the phone when deposit was paid but when calling up on arrival they hang up and dint answer. We left a review on google too and they were quick to answer advising that they do not take deposits, yeah right. Went to another camping site down the road, and it wasnt the first time they've heard this story. Rude and unprofessional as per their google repsone, almost like children who cannot take responsibility for their actions. 0/10 stay away, much MUCH nicer people down the road.

Del gerent: Every once in a while , all, sites get a nasty review. This is usually because of their own personal problems When it’s to me and unjustified - I call a spade a spade We do not charges deposits - that’s a matter if you and them , book through a website We do not collect monies at the gates - unlike others We wait until people have pitched up settled down and are happy Which is in 99 % of cases The only scammers were this lot as they drove in - the site was off season and not that that many tents , so peaceful and quiet . They wanted a noisy rave atmosphere - that I told them was NOT going to happen and off they went - then promptly slagged me off , having not paid me Welcome to not come and back

Em va agradar: Great site, we'll definitely be back! Large open field with free roam ponies which our son loved!! Toilets and showers did their job with nice hot water in the shower. The owner was really friendly. we had a good chat with him, and he stopped by each pitch to see if everyone was alright. Firepits and wood are reasonable, the wood burned for hours!! Overall a great site and we'll definitely be back. Just a reminder to take bug spray!!

Em va agradar: Lovely fella who owns the place nice size field pick where you pitch the horses are brilliant the kids loved them especially when they came to say hello at the tent door Definitely don't leave food out the horses are very cheeky Really quiet at night no noises no loud music everybody was polite Fridge for beer plugs for phone charging

No em va agradar: The horseflies!! Make sure you take repellant as they are wicked things that are very hungry!! Toilets need a sign as they are slight hidden and hard to find for the first time
