Me gustó: Able to pitch where you like, plenty of options. Showers, toilets, washing facilities and charging points all in very good working order. Milk, orange juice and dry foods for sale with prices and an honesty box.

Me gustó: This was such a beautiful place with breath-taking views and an abundance of wildlife which was just what we were looking for. If you love bird watching there were tonnes! There was plenty of choice in where you can pitch up, and we were amazed at how peaceful and spacious it was. We found a really quiet spot under a tree in a flower meadow where there was only one other tent when we arrived - and for the second part of our stay we were the only ones in the field which was awesome! The views of the mountains from our pitch were just stunning. We loved how relaxed and hassle-free everything was, the facilities were fantastic and really clean, and the barn was great with lots of useful information in there. There are many beautiful surrounding walks and only a 10 minute drive to Pen Y Fan - perfect if you are looking to do lots of hiking. We loved everything about this place and really cannot wait to return again. Thanks so much for making our stay amazing.

No me gustó: We really cannot fault it, and there was nothing we disliked! If there was any one 'nice to have' it would be to have access/purchase fire wood at the farm for our fire pit. We had to travel and hunt around to buy wood. We will remember to bring plenty with us next time we come.

Other folk have said the same regarding firewood, so although we still encourage people to bring their own, we now have a supply of logs, kindling and firelighters which can be purchased on site for those who need it. So if you do forget your wood on your next visit we will be able to supply you! Theresa

Me gustó: Fantastic surroundings & beautiful scenery. The facilities were A+, the bathrooms & toilets were always kept very clean. The pitch wasn’t too crowded either so we didn’t feel too boxed in, very short drive into town which was a plus as well!

Me gustó: Everything, nothing to dislike, location is amazing , opened my tent door and looked out onto Brecon Beacons, the place is rustic without been spoilt, it’s so good I’d like to keep it to myself and not tell anybody, no kids running around, no music pumping out, rabbits running about, early morning cuckoo, peacock, a lovely well kept place.

Me gustó: Great Campsite with amazing views. Facilities were very clean, including the campers barn. Particularly liked the honesty shop, especially the local honey.

Me gustó: Beautiful site with lots of space and number of campers limited so never crowded. Facilities clean and all you need. Honesty shop great . Had a great time and would go again.

Me gustó: Great facilities, hot clean showers. Use of gas cooker in the campers barn when it was too windy/rained to cook at tent pitch that was a godsend. Just put some change in box towards gas bottle. Use of fridge and freezer, charging points. I would certainly stay here again.

Me gustó: Outstanding views! Nice and handy camper barn area, plenty of space.

No me gustó: The only problem, but important to know about, was water. As I understood, water that is used for showers, toilets and washing up is pumped into the tank. And when there was constant use of facilities, water stopped completely. There were people left with no hot or cold water in there shower, no water to flash toilets or wash your hands. Washing up is not that essential at the moment, unless you need to pack for leaving. We went on bank holiday weekend and on Sunday, Monday mornings I have seen people leaving the shower "half washed". As for myself, I only got caught without water twice, first in the toilet, not being able to flush and wash hands and with the queue outside, which was quite embarrassing. And another time when washing dishes. This camp site is very beautiful with outstanding views and location and absolutely worth visiting, but maybe avoid weekends or bank holidays
