Electric grass pitch
Liked: The site is lovely and well kept, the staff are really friendly and even the pitches that are seasonal are so friendly and welcoming. The toilet and bathroom cubicles are immaculate, probably the best I've seen, and I liked how there are lots of them dotted around not just 1 area. You.can tell alot of money and thought has been put into the layout and grounds, our Shepherds hut was immaculate, coffee and essentials already there, as are towels and bedding and wood for the fire, it has absolutely everything you need! We will be coming back again and next time we are going to camp, we found the pitches were so large and private. Games barns and reading area a great addition and the views of the mountains superb. We had a beautiful time. A real family gem. Thank you

Electric grass pitch
Liked: So let's start from the beginning. We arrived at the site, welcomed with a smile. Lady gave us all the info including a little map how to get to our spot. Pitches are very good size, electric easy to hook up, every spot has a tap with water (very usefull), everywhere is very clean, grass trimmed, no rubbish, toilets are very clean and modern, hand dryers and hair dryers. there is even a little walk around the bushes if you have a dog with you. There is a washing machine and dryer as well and a little play are with pool table and other games. You really can't go wrong with that one. On top of that few minutes drive to shops if you need some supplies. Oh, let's not forget about decent WiFi in the tent ;)

Liked: Large pitch sizes with plenty of room in front for the kids to play games. Clean toilets and showers in the shepherd huts. Beautiful, well maintained site with lovely views. Wifi worked on the pitch too which was really useful!

Electric grass pitch
Liked: The red hot clean showers that even had a wall mounted heater. The site was decided into cul de sacs that had large pitches, well maintained gardens plenty of flowers
Disliked: We arrived at the arranged time, approached the barrier and did as instructed, ‘ring this number’. We did for 25 minutes. Meanwhile cars could neither exit nor enter, one lady gave us the passcode for the barrier and we were able to enter and pull over. My wife walked around in the pouring rain for a full 25 minutes looking for the warden. Eventually the phone was answered by a very disgruntled lady who demanded to know if we were booked in for that day. She kept talking to someone in the room with her ‘he says he’s booked in’ as if we weren’t there. Eventually she reluctantly came out and my wife accompanied her to the wardens caravan which she unlocked, went inside ( leaving my wife in the rain) and then came back out and said ‘you’d better come in the map will get wet’ She told us which pitch number we were on and said ‘there should be water on it’. We went through the site to a field which as the week progressed became obvious that it was for tents. There was water, but the grass hadn’t been cut for quite some time. We were booked on a grass site with electric which it was but there were grass pitches available in the cul de sacs and we were left to feel very much that we had annoyed her and therefore could stay in the camping field. The grey water and chemical waste were quite a long way from the field and the general rubbish was accessed via someone’s caravan. We paid £52.50 a night which is appalling for the service and treatment we were given
