Middle Meadow camping pod
Liked: This area/place and Pod was amazing place to stay. We had never been to a pod before so was not sure what to expect, all we wanted was a full size bed for us all, plus a shower and loo. This pod ticked all the boxes for our stay. The owners was lovely helpful too. We stayed for 5 nights, thinking this was going to be to long! It turned out to be a perfect time to stay at this place. We walked for miles around, visited all the local pubs. This place was stunning and we all totally enjoyed every minute here. The train line behind the pod wasn’t an issue even for me! It didn’t run at night well I never heard it if it did. The pod was very quiet compared to a tent anyway. Fully enjoyed this stay and fully recommend this if you are thinking of staying here.

Far Meadow camping pod
Liked: Pod was ideal - clean and had everything we needed, the views are something else. Good modern bathroom and the shower was belting. Outside the small patio area with picnic bench and a little bbq, with parking right next to it was just the ticket. We'll be coming back as the location was absolutely perfect.

Far Meadow camping pod
Liked: They were lovely and clean and just more than expected in terms of quality. Shower was amazing as was the underfloor heating. Firm mattresses offered a good nights sleep: the trains are over the other side of the wall but infrequent and gave my boys something to look out for. Lovely scenery of the hills and short little walls to explore. Surprised to find some basics in the pod. We were glad to have taken our camping chairs to sit on inside when raining for added comfort Sadly didn’t get chance to sit out with the weather but it didn’t spoil anything
Disliked: Nothing at all

Middle Meadow camping pod
Liked: We really enjoyed our stay in the pod. We usually camp at Cragg Hill Farm but as the weather has got colder we thought we'd try a pod and we love it. The facilities were clean and we had everything we needed. The hot water went off one night and we contacted the owners, they had fixed it within 20 minutes, really great service. The location is the best part, perfect for walking and exploring.

Middle Meadow camping pod
Liked: Everything about the pod was great, extremely clean and well cared for. Wasn't expecting to find a toaster & microwave! I also really liked there was a secured fire pit and we definitely made use of that & used all the firewood I had brought!
Disliked: The road traffic in front of the pod was not ideal at times, campers coming in to checkin & then out again, but it wasn't all the time and we were able to teach the children that they had to be standing on the stone flags when the cars went past. I wasn't aware I needed to bring cash for the cleaning deposit - I don't remember seeing that at all when I made the booking...but luckily I had some cash in my purse so it wasn't a problem.
