Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: The relaxed and safe atmosphere, plenty of space for everyone and helpful staff .
Disliked: It was very basic but we knew that so not really a dislike but worth understanding if it's something you're unsure about, the hot water was non existent, so it was cold showers and washing up with cold water struggling to get the grease from the pans

Liked: Size of the pitches were great, the bar was good and fairly priced. The little shop was good and the pizza night was great, slightly over priced but ok.
Disliked: Unless you got yourself and your kids up at 630am to shower then there wasn't any hot water, not even for washing up. As a parent trying to convince a 3 year old to have a freezing cold shower makes the mornings quite stressful. The toilets were really clean and the staff very kind and welcoming.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: The site was perfectly situated with easy access to Fordingbridge and the New Forest and had beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. The camping area was lovely and flat and free of stones and old tent pegs with plenty of space available with a generous 10×10 pitch. The staff were always available to discuss issues or answer questions and everything was sorted out quickly. The food, drink and fire pit hire were all very reasonable in price. Overall a great time had by all and we will definitely return.

Liked: So friendly, attentive and laidback all at the same time! The views were idyllic, the bar was great, the pizzas were yummy and the short walk to the pub was a bonus! Thank you ☺️
Disliked: Not a dislike but just be prepared for a cold shower! I think they might be solar so you might be lucky!

Disliked: Unfortunatley no hot water 😥 Nothing to do with campsite, but local pub (Compasses Inn) leaves a lot to be desired!

Liked: The campsite was lovely and open. The people working there are the nicest people I have come across that run a campsite. The food bus did amazing food and the hut had some nice drinks.
Disliked: The only let down for this site was the toilet/Shower facilities. Lack of lighting. No water pressure in the sinks. Hot water constantly ran out.

Liked: Great family campsite, very friendly. We were given option of where we would like to pitch tents, and how we wanted to set up was left to us. Not set pitches for each tent. Toilets and showers all clean and tidy. We stayed as a group with 8 children between us, they loved to explore the animals around the site. Bus serves food for breakfast and pizza on sat night. Not far to drive to coast for beach day, great location
